O objetivo principal deste trabalho é analisar a interculturalidade e a internacionalização enquanto pilares fundamentais da construção de uma educação global dentro dos programas de pós-graduação stricto sensu, com foco em sua contribuição para a formação de cidadãos globais. O estudo caracteriza-se por uma revisão bibliográfica de abordagem qualitativa, utilizando a análise textual discursiva para tratamento dos dados. Os resultados identificam duas categorias analíticas principais: a interculturalidade e a internacionalização. A interculturalidade será apresentada como a interação harmoniosa entre as diferentes culturas, promovendo a compreensão mútua e o respeito. A internacionalização, por sua vez, será abordada como a integração de práticas educacionais e culturais globais, evidenciada por programas de intercâmbio e colaborações virtuais. Ambas as categorias potencializam a experiência educacional, preparando os estudantes para uma cidadania global e oferecendo a oportunidade de uma integração regional emancipatória. As análises sugerem que a cooperação, como eixo estruturante na formação docente, favorece o diálogo interinstitucional e a criação de currículos inclusivos que promovam a cidadania global. Para alcançar tais objetivos, deve haver um esforço individual e coletivo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: In the current global context, education has a direct relationship with human, social, cultural, economic, and environmental development. The main objective of this work is to analyze interculturality and internationalization as fundamental pillars in the construction of global education within stricto sensu postgraduate programs, focusing on their contribution to the formation of global citizens. This study is characterized by a qualitative literature review, using discursive textual analysis for data processing. The results identify two main analytical categories: interculturality and internationalization. Interculturality is presented as the harmonious interaction between different cultures, promoting mutual understanding and respect. Internationalization, on the other hand, is addressed as the integration of global educational and cultural practices, evidenced by exchange programs and virtual collaborations. Both categories enhance the educational experience, preparing students for global citizenship and offering the opportunity for emancipatory regional integration. The analyses suggest that cooperation, as a structuring axis in teacher training, favors inter-institutional dialogue and the creation of inclusive curricula that promote global citizenship. To achieve these goals, there must be an individual and collective effort.]]></p></abstract>
