Apresenta a evolução do pensamento científico ao longo da história da humanidade, em especial no que se refere aos paradigmas da ciência e de sua influência na Educação. Contempla a reflexão sobre as mudanças paradigmáticas na evolução da ciência do pensamento cartesiano ao pensamento complexo. A partir desta evolução histórica, propõe a caracterização dos pressupostos do paradigma tradicional e da complexidade e suas implicações no contexto da educação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The article is about the investigation on the science paradigms that characterize the knowledge and, consequently, the academic and professional practice. It presents the evolution of the scientific thought along the history of humanity, specially, in what refers to the science paradigms and its influence on education. It contemplates the reflection about the paradigmatic changes on the evolution of the science from the Cartesian thought to the complex thought. Since this historical evolution it proposes the characterization of the presupposed matters of the traditional paradigm and the complexity and its implications on the context of education.]]></p></abstract>
