A pesquisa constitui-se em um estudo de caso com abordagem qualitativa e quantitativa, na qual os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas, análise dos documentos oficiais dos cursos e observação dos ambientes virtuais. Os resultados revelaram baixa FTD dos professores nos cursos investigados. Além disso, a análise instiga a reflexão sobre a necessidade de melhoria das capacitações e formações docentes. A FTD pode qualificar o trabalho do professor no planejamento e implementação de AE no Moodle, envolvendo formação e motivação do professor, gestão do tempo, clareza epistemológica e conceitual para proposição de práticas pedagógicas coerentes com a modalidade de ensino.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article analyzes how professors&#8217; digital fluency reflects on the organization of teaching activities in online degree programs offered at the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) in the scope of the Open University of Brazil (UAB) program. The research encompasses a case study, which involved both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data were collected by means of interviews, official course document analysis, and observations of the virtual learning environments. The results indicate low digital fluency of professors in the courses investigated, which triggers reflections on the improvements in teacher development. Digital fluency may qualify professors&#8217; pedagogical work in regards to planning and implementing teaching activities on Moodle, which comprises professors&#8217; education and motivation, time management, epistemological and conceptual clarity in order to design pedagogical practices which are appropriate to the teaching context.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo analiza los reflejos de la fluidez tecnológica digital (FTD) de los profesores en la organización de actividades de enseñanza (AE), en cursos de graduación a distancia ofrecidos por la Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), en el ámbito del programa Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB). La investigación se constituye en un estudio de caso con abordaje cualitativo y cuantitativo, en la cual los datos fueron colectados por medio de entrevistas, análisis de los documentos oficiales de los cursos y observación de los ambientes virtuales. Los resultados revelaron baja FTD de los profesores en los cursos investigados. Así que el análisis instiga a la reflexión sobre la necesidad de perfeccionamiento de las capacitaciones y formaciones docentes. La FTD puede cualificar el trabajo del profesor en la planificación e implementación de AE en el Moodle, involucrando formación y motivación del profesor, gestión del tiempo, claridad epistemológica y conceptual para proposición de prácticas pedagógicas coherentes con la modalidad de enseñanza.]]></p></abstract>
