A história, baseada em fatos reais, conta a tarefa empreendida pelo Dr. Jean Itard na tentativa de educar o &#8220;menino selvagem&#8221;, conhecido assim por ter sobrevivido durante seus primeiros 11/12 anos de vida, em meio aos bosques do sul da França e longe do convívio humano. Para tanto, nos ancoramos nos pressupostos da Teoria Histórico-Cultural (THC) e, durante o processo de análise, utilizamos a obra fílmica para discutir como foi o processo de educação do menino Victor. As análises evidenciaram que o isolamento social, vivenciado pelo protagonista, prejudicou o desenvolvimento das características propriamente humanas e mostrou como as ações pedagógicas do Dr. Itard se configuraram como pertinentes e, ao mesmo tempo, não teve êxitos sobre o garoto.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In this study, we have the main objective to discuss the subject's humanization process, through the story of Victor of Aveyron, the main character in the film The wild boy. The story is based on real events and tells the task undertaken by Dr. Jean Itard in the attempt to educate the wild boy, known for having survived during his first 11/12 years of life amid the forests of the south of France and away from human coexistence. For that, we anchored ourselves on the assumptions of Historical-Cultural Theory (THC) and during the analysis process, we used the film work to discuss how the boy Victor's education process was. The analyzes showed that the social isolation, experienced by the character, hindered the development of proper human characteristics and showed how Dr. Itard's pedagogical actions were relevant and, at the same time, had no success with the boy.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen En este estudio, nuestro principal objetivo es discutir el proceso de humanización del sujeto a través de la historia de Víctor de Aveyron, personaje central de la película &#8220;El chico salvaje&#8221;. La historia, basada en hechos reales, narra la tarea emprendida por el Dr. Jean Itard en un intento por educar al &#8220;niño salvaje&#8221;, conocido como tal por haber sobrevivido durante sus primeros 11/12 años de vida, en los bosques del sur de Francia. y lejos de la interacción humana. Por tanto, nos anclamos en los supuestos de la Teoría Histórico-Cultural (THC) y durante el proceso de análisis, utilizamos el trabajo fílmico para discutir cómo fue el proceso de educación del niño Víctor. Los análisis mostraron que el aislamiento social vivido por el protagonista perjudicó el desarrollo de características propiamente humanas y mostró cómo las acciones pedagógicas del Dr. Itard se configuraron como pertinentes y, al mismo tiempo, no tuvieron éxito en el niño.]]></p></abstract>
