A coleta dos dados foirealizada por meio de an&#225;lise documental e aplica&#231;&#227;o de entrevista semiestruturada. Os dados foram registrados em &#225;udio e, posteriormente transcritos e analisados. Foi poss&#237;vel obter duas categorias, sendo que a primeira referiu-se &#224;s pol&#237;ticas para o atendimento e a segunda, &#224; organiza&#231;&#227;o do atendimento para o aluno com defici&#234;ncia f&#237;sica. Os resultados apontaram que a rede municipal de educa&#231;&#227;o investigada mostrou pol&#237;ticas de acessibilidade com suporte para uso da tecnologia assistiva para o aluno com defici&#234;ncia f&#237;sica matriculado na rede regular de ensino, apesar de n&#227;o indicar a necessidade de atendimento educacional especializado quando este aluno n&#227;o apresenta d&#233;ficit cognitivo associado. Conclui-se que h&#225; complexidade de fatores para contemplar a inclus&#227;o escolar do aluno com defici&#234;ncia f&#237;sica e que muitas a&#231;&#245;es s&#227;o necess&#225;rias para garantir escolariza&#231;&#227;o e participa&#231;&#227;o social deste p&#250;blico-alvo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  The study aimed to characterize the educational services offered to students with physical disabilities in a Municipal Education of a midsize city of S&#227;o Paulo state. We gathered the data through document analysis and application of semi-structured interviews. We recorded the data on audio, transcribed and analyzed them. We categorized them into two categories, the first of which referred to the attendance policies and second, the organization of care for students with physical disabilities. The results showed that the system investigated showed accessibility policies supporting the use of assistive technology for students with disabilities enrolled in regular education, despite not indicate the need for specialized educational services when the student has no associated cognitive impairment. We concluded that there are myriad factors to contemplate the school inclusion of students with physical disabilities and that many actions are needed to ensure education and social participation of this target audience.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo caracterizar el atendimiento educacional ofrecido a los alumnos con deficiencia f&#237;sica en la Secretaria Municipal de Educaci&#243;n de una ciudad de porte medio del interior paulista. La recolecci&#243;n de datos fue realizada por medio de un an&#225;lisis documental y aplicaci&#243;n de entrevista semiestructurada. Los datos fueron registrados en audio y, posteriormente, transcritos y analizados. Fue posible obtener dos categor&#237;as, siendo que la primera se refiri&#243; a las pol&#237;ticas para el atendimiento y la segunda, a la organizaci&#243;n del atendimiento para el alumno con deficiencia f&#237;sica. Los resultados apuntaron que la red municipal de educaci&#243;n investigada mostr&#243; pol&#237;ticas de accesibilidad con soporte para el uso de la tecnolog&#237;a de asistencia para el alumno con deficiencia f&#237;sica matriculado en la red regular de ense&#241;anza, a pesar de no indicar la necesidad de atendimiento educacional especializado cuando este alumno no presenta d&#233;ficit cognitivo asociado. Se concluye que hay una complejidad de factores para contemplar la inclusi&#243;n escolar del alumno con deficiencia f&#237;sica y que muchas acciones son necesarias para garantizar la escolarizaci&#243;n y participaci&#243;n social de este p&#250;blico-meta.]]></p></abstract>
