O estudo foi realizado com tr&#234;s grupos: 63 estudantes do in&#237;cio do curso (1&#186;, 2&#186; e 3&#186; per&#237;odos); 54 estudantes do final do curso (8&#186;, 9&#186; e 10&#186; per&#237;odos); e 25 psic&#243;logos. Para coleta de dados foi utilizado o Invent&#225;rio de Habilidades Sociais (IHS), o qual foi aplicado com os estudantes e os profissionais na universidade, nos locais de trabalho, em outro ambiente de sua disponibilidade ou atrav&#233;s de e-mail. Os resultados apontaram que n&#227;o houve diferen&#231;as significativas no escore geral de Habilidades Sociais entre os estudantes de in&#237;cio e final do curso (p = 0,319) nem entre estudantes de final do curso e psic&#243;logos (p = 0,70). Houve diferen&#231;a significativa quando comparados os estudantes de in&#237;cio de curso e psic&#243;logos (p = 0,009). A partir do manual, foi poss&#237;vel verificar que, em sua maioria, os estudantes e profissionais apresentam um bom repert&#243;rio de HS em seus diferentes fatores. Consideramos relevante, ainda, o desenvolvimento de atividades que possibilitem maior aprendizagem dessas HS ainda durante a forma&#231;&#227;o, avaliando que estas s&#227;o fundamentais &#224; atua&#231;&#227;o do psic&#243;logo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The present research had as an objective the comparison of Social Skills (SS) on psychology course undergraduates' and professionals working in the area with at least one year of work performance. Three groups participated in this study: 63 students at the beginning of the course (1st, 2nd and 3rd semesters); 54 students at the end of the course (8th, 9th and 10th semesters); and 25 psychologists. For the data collect it was used a Social Skills Inventory (SSI) that was applied at the university places of work or availability, or via e-mail, with the professionals. The results showed that there were no significant differences in the overall score of Social Skills, neither between the students at the beginning and the end of the course (p=0.319) nor between students at the end of the course and the psychologists (p= 0,70). There was a significant difference in the comparison of students at the beginning of the course and psychologists (p= 0.009). From the manual, it was possible to verify that the majority, of students and professionals, presented a good repertory of SS in its different factors. It was considered still relevant, the development of activities that could enable a major learning of these SS still during graduation, evaluating that they are fundamental to the psychologists' performance.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El presente estudio tiene como objetivo comparar las habilidades sociales (HS) de estudiantes de psicolog&#237;a y profesionales de la misma &#225;rea con al menos un a&#241;o de experiencia. El estudio fue realizado con tres grupos: 63 estudiantes de inicio de carrera (1&#176;, 2&#176; y 3&#176; semestre); 54 estudiantes de final de carrera (8&#176;, 9&#176; y 10&#176; semestre); y 25 psic&#243;logos. Para recopilar los datos se utiliz&#243; el Inventario de Habilidades Sociales (IHS) que fue aplicado en la universidad a los estudiantes; y en los lugares de trabajo, en otro ambiente disponible o a trav&#233;s de correo electr&#243;nico, a los profesionales. Los resultados apuntan que no hubo diferencias significativas en el resultado final de Habilidades Sociales entres los estudiantes de inicio y final de curso (p = 0,319), ni entre estudiantes de final de curso y psic&#243;logos (p = 0,70). Hubo una diferencia significativa cuando comparamos estudiantes de inicio de curso y psic&#243;logos (p = 0,009). A partir del manual, fue posible verificar que, en su mayor&#237;a, los estudiantes y profesionales presentan un buen repertorio de HS en sus diferentes factores. Consideramos, todav&#237;a, relevante el desarrollo de actividades que posibilitan mayor aprendizaje de estas HS a&#250;n durante la formaci&#243;n, evaluando que estas son fundamentales para la actuaci&#243;n del psic&#243;logo.]]></p></abstract>
