Para isso, utilizamos como instrumento de pesquisa um questionário preenchido por 63 licenciandos que aceitaram colaborar com o estudo. Tendo como fundamentação teórica os trabalhos de Gatti (2014), Tartuce et al. (2010), Kramer (2014), Brandão e Leal (2011), dentre outros, obtivemos, como resultado, que a docência na educação infantil é a primeira intenção de atuação entre a maioria dos ingressantes, que demonstraram estar cientes da complexidade do trabalho com crianças dessa faixa etária, indicando a necessidade de um trabalho pedagógico voltado aos interesses próprios do público infantil. Esses resultados nos fazem refletir que, mesmo em meio a um cenário de baixa atratividade docente, os ingressantes do curso pesquisado parecem valorizar a docência na educação infantil. Esperamos, com este trabalho, enriquecer o debate sobre a temática proposta, reunindo mais dados de pesquisa que auxiliem na discussão sobre a docência na contemporaneidade.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This research aims to investigate the attractiveness of teaching in early childhood education among students enrolled in a Licenciatura Course in Pedagogy, seeking to know their initial impressions about the work of the teacher with children of this stage of basic education. For this, we used as a research instrument a questionnaire filled by 63 graduates who agreed to collaborate with the study. Having as theoretical foundation the works of Gatti (2014), Tartuce et al. (2010), Kramer (2014), Brandão and Leal (2011), among others, we have as a result that teaching in early childhood education is the first intention of acting among the majority of the participants, who have shown that they are aware of the complexity of working with children of this age group, indicating the need for pedagogical work focused on the children's own interests. These results make us reflect that even in a scenario of low teacher attractiveness, the students enrolled in the course studied seem to value teaching in early childhood education. We hope, with this work, to enrich the debate on the proposed theme, gathering more research data that will help in the discussion about teaching in the contemporary world.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Esta investigación objetiva investigar el atractivo para la docencia en la educación infantil entre ingresantes de un Curso de Licenciatura en Pedagogía, buscando conocer sus impresiones iniciales acerca del trabajo del profesor con niños de esa etapa de la educación básica. Para ello, utilizamos como instrumento de investigación un cuestionario llenado por 63 licenciantes que aceptaron colaborar con el estudio. En cuanto a los trabajos de Gatti (2014), Tartuce et al. (2010), Kramer (2014), Brandão y Leal (2011), entre otros, obtuvimos como resultado que la docencia en la educación infantil es la primera intención de actuación entre la mayoría de los ingresantes, que demostraron estar conscientes de la complejidad del trabajo con niños de ese grupo de edad, indicando la necesidad de un trabajo pedagógico orientado a los intereses propios del público infantil. Estos resultados nos hacen reflexionar que incluso en medio de un escenario de baja atractividad docente, los ingresantes del curso investigado parecen valorar la docencia en la educación infantil. Esperamos, con este trabajo, enriquecer el debate sobre la temática propuesta, reuniendo más datos de investigación que ayuden en la discusión sobre la docencia en la contemporaneidad.]]></p></abstract>
