Geralmente coloridos e com figuras diversas, buscam representar os números em forma de algarismos, por extenso e com desenhos representando as quantidades. Neste texto, apresentamos uma proposta alternativa de representar os números e as quantidades, uma forma desenhada e outra manipulativa, que pode ser utilizada para representação de quantidades ou para resolução de operações de adição e subtração, a qual denominamos Sense Líquen. O Sense Líquen facilita o processo de ensino e aprendizagem na construção da relação entre números e quantidades, valoriza as relações numéricas e leva os estudantes a perceberem que os números se relacionam, que um está dentro do outro, ou que um contém o outro. Permite a visualização de números e quantidades sem a necessidade de contagem, a resolução de operações de adição e subtração estabelecendo e valorizando as relações numéricas, o senso numérico, a criatividade e a flexibilidade com os números. O material favorece a construção de conhecimentos necessários para a elaboração de estratégias de cálculo mental, essenciais para resolver situações-problema do dia a dia.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Number and quantity posters are very common and are present in many Elementary School classrooms. Usually colored and with different figures, they seek to represent numbers in the form of figures, in full and with drawings representing the quantities. In this text we present an alternative proposal to represent numbers and quantities, a drawn form and a manipulable one, which can be used to represent quantities or to solve addition and subtraction operations, which we call Sense Líquen. Sense Líquen facilitates the teaching and learning process in building the relationship between numbers and quantities, values numerical relationships and leads students to realize that numbers are related, that one is inside the other, or that one contains the other. It allows the visualization of numbers and quantities without the need to count, allows the resolution of addition and subtraction operations, establishing and valuing numerical relationships, numerical sense, creativity, and flexibility with numbers. The material favors the construction of knowledge necessary for the elaboration of mental calculation strategies, so necessary to solve day-to-day problem situations.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Los carteles de números y cantidades son muy comunes y están presentes en muchas clases de la Educación Primaria. Generalmente de colores y con diferentes figuras, buscan representar los numerales en forma de cifras, completos y con dibujos que representan las cantidades. En este texto presentamos una propuesta alternativa para representar numerales y cantidades, una forma dibujada y otra manipulativa, que puede ser utilizada para representar cantidades o para resolver operaciones de suma y resta, a la que llamamos Sense Líquen. El Sense Líquen facilita el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje en la construcción de la relación entre numerales y cantidades, valora las relaciones numéricas y lleva los estudiantes a darse cuenta de que los numerales están relacionados, que uno está dentro del otro, o que uno contiende al otro. Permite la visualización de numerales y cantidades sin necesidad de contarlos, la resolución de operaciones de suma y resta, estableciendo y valorando relaciones numéricas, sentido numérico, creatividad y flexibilidad con los numerales. El material favorece la construcción de conocimientos necesarios para la elaboración de estrategias de cálculo mental, esenciales para resolver situaciones problemáticas del día a día.]]></p></abstract>
