Para tanto, buscou-se desvelar conexões e identificar conceitos-chave freireanos favorecedores da articulação pretendida (entre EIP e EU) para, então, sistematizar diretrizes que promovam a materialização dessa articulação. Trata-se de um estudo documental qualitativo com referencial freireano que tomou como fontes de dados documentos de referência da EIP e da EU. Da análise temática emergiram conexões entre EIP-EU: valores para a EIP e a EU - ética e respeito à diversidade de saberes; trabalho colaborativo em equipe centrado no usuário e orientado à comunidade; e formação problematizadora em contexto real. A partir dessas conexões, identificaram-se conceitos-chave freireanos: ser humano, diálogo e conscientização. Finalmente, foram propostas diretrizes para um processo pedagógico único que articule EIP e EU na educação superior em Saúde. Concluiu-se que a EU constitui espaço estratégico para a perspectiva da EIP, com potencial para promover um importante salto qualitativo na formação profissional para a consolidação do Sistema Único de Saúde.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The main objective was to highlight elements that constitute support for the installation and strengthening of Interprofessional Education (IPE) in health from educational situations of University Extension (UE).To this end, we sought to reveal connections and identify Freire's key concepts that favor the intended articulation (between EIP and EU) to then systematize guidelines that promote the materialization of this articulation.This is a qualitative documental study with a Freirean framework that uses reference documents from IPE and UE as data sources. From the thematic analysis, connections between IPE-UE emerged:values ??for IPE and UE- ethics and respect to the knowledge diversity; user-centered, community-oriented collaborative teamwork; problem-solving training in a real context. From these connections, Freirean key concepts were identified: human being, dialogue and awareness. Finally, guidelines were proposed for a unique pedagogical process that articulates IPE and UE in higher education in health. It is concluded that the UE constitutes a strategic space for the IPE perspective, with the potential to promote an important qualitative leap in professional training for the consolidation of theSistema Único de Saúde (SUS).]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El objetivo principal de este artículo fue resaltar elementos que constituyan apoyo para la instalación y el fortalecimiento de la Educación Interprofesional (EIP) en Salud desde situaciones educacionales de Extensión Universitaria (EU).Para ello, se ha buscado revelar conexiones e identificar conceptos clave de Paulo Freire que favorezcan la articulación pretendida (entre EIP y EU) para, entonces, sistematizar directrices que promuevan la materialización de esa articulación. Se trata de un estudio documental cualitativo cuyo referencial es Paulo Freire que utilizó como fuentes de datos documentos de referencia de la EIP y de la EU. Del análisis temático surgieron conexiones entre EIP y EU: valores para EIP y EU- ética y respeto a la diversidad de conocimientos; trabajo en colaborativo equipo centrado en el usuario y orientado a la comunidad; y entrenamiento en problemas en un contexto real.
