O artigo apresenta os caminhos trilhados pelo NEABI da Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro no tocante ao universo de suas ações de formação docente convalidando o entendimento de que uma educação de bases antirracistas implica a crítica ao mito da democracia racial, a compreensão dos mecanismos de exclusão que recaem sobre a população negra, apontando na direção das possibilidades de interferir nos processos de qualificação docente na perspectiva da Lei n. 10.639/2003, produzindo conhecimentos instituintes de princípios que valorizem a educação das relações étnico-raciais.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies Centers have become a leading space in the country's higher education institutions in favor of implementing Laws 10.639/2003, 11.645/2008 and Curriculum Guidelines in the field of anti-racist education. The article presents the paths taken by the NEABI of the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro with regard to the universe of its teacher training actions, confirming the understanding that an anti-racist education implies in criticizing the myth of racial democracy, in understanding the mechanisms of exclusion that falls on the black population, pointing in the direction of the possibilities of interfering in the processes of teacher qualification in the perspective of Law 10.639 / 2003, producing knowledge that institutes principles that value the education of ethnicracial relations.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Los Centros de Estudios Afrobrasileños e Indígenas se han convertido en un espacio líder en las instituciones de educación superior del país a favor de la implementación de las Leyes 10.639/2003, 11.645/2008 y de Directrices Curriculares en el campo de la educación antirracista. El artículo presenta los caminos tomados por el NEABI de la Universidad Federal Rural de Río de Janeiro con respecto al universo de sus acciones de calificación docente, confirmando la comprensión que implica una educación antirracista al criticar el mito de la democracia racial, al comprender los mecanismos de exclusión que recae sobre la población negra, apuntando en la dirección de las posibilidades de interferir en los procesos de calificación docente en la perspectiva de la Ley 10.639/2003, produciendo conocimiento que instituye principios que valoran la educación de las relaciones étnico-raciales.]]></p></abstract>
