Busca-se desconstruir a ideia de uma identidade Coda essencializada, marcada por modos de vida da cultura surda e reduzida a um modelo padrão, para pensarmos em uma matriz de experiência Coda (modos de vida-identidade-subjetividade). Os caminhos metodológicos perpassam cinco produções sobre a temática Coda, em que são identificadas algumas recorrências de marcas culturais surdas e ouvintes, envolvidas na malha discursiva sobre surdez. Entende-se que as recorrências ordenam e conduzem processos de constituição do Coda e que olhar para esta constituição pela matriz de experiência amplia as possibilidades de o Coda ser o sujeito da experiência. Assim, a discussão sobre identidade passa a ser entendida pelo viés de identificação cultural dos Codas como grupo, situando-se sua constituição subjetiva na experiência única e singular de sua história de vida.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract Codas, as hearing children of deaf parents are called, carry marks and impressions of both deaf and hearing ways of life. This article, which problematizes narratives about Coda identities, aims to deconstruct the idea of an essentialized Coda identity, marked by ways of life of the deaf culture and reduced to a standard model, in order to think of a matrix of Coda experience (ways of life-identity-subjectivity). The methodological paths run through five productions on the Coda theme, in which some recurrences of deaf and hearing cultural marks involved in the meshof discourses about deafness have been identified. It is understood that the recurrences order and lead Coda constitution processes and that looking at this constitution through the matrix of experience expands the possibilities of Coda being the subject of the experience. Thus, the discussion about identity can be understood from the perspective of cultural identification of Codas as a group, by situating their subjective constitution in the unique and singular experience of their life history.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen En este artículo se problematizan las narrativas sobre las identidades Codas, como son llamados los hijos oyentes de padres sordos, con sus marcas e impresiones de modos de vida sordo y oyente. Se busca deconstruir la idea de una identidad Coda en esencia, marcada por formas de vida de la cultura sorda y reducida a un modelo estándar, para pensar en una matriz de experiencia Coda (formas de vida-identidad-subjetividad). Los caminos metodológicos recorren cinco producciones sobre la temática Coda, en las que se identifican algunas recurrencias de marcas culturales sordas y oyentes, envueltas en el tejido discursivo sobre la sordera. Se entiende que las recurrencias ordenan y conducen los procesos de constitución de Coda y que mirar esta constitución a través de la matriz de la experiencia amplía las posibilidades de que Coda sea el sujeto de la experiencia. De este modo, la discusión sobre la identidad pasa a entenderse a través del sesgo de identificación cultural de los Codas como grupo, situando su constitución subjetiva en la experiencia única y singular de su historia de vida.]]></p></abstract>
