Na pesquisa do tipo estudo de caso, utilizou-se o recurso metodológico da análise documental alicerçada na teoria histórico-cultural. Analisou-se a legislação relativa à Política Nacional de Proteção dos Direitos da Pessoa com Transtorno do Espectro Autista, bem como o Projeto Político-Pedagógico (PPP) e o Plano de Desenvolvimento Institucional (PDI) da universidade à qual o curso de pedagogia encontra-se vinculado. Os resultados revelaram uma lacuna na abordagem da educação especial e inclusiva quando se refere à visibilidade da inclusão das pessoas com TEA nos documentos analisados, de modo que, anualmente, os futuros professores poderão estar no mercado de trabalho sem qualificação suficiente para a atuação na educação especial.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This paper aimed to analyze the proposal for training a pedagogy course at a public university in the State of São Paulo, Brazil, and the connections with the National Policy for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. In the case study research, the methodological resource of document analysis based on the historical-cultural theory was used. The legislation relating to the National Policy for the Protection of the Rights of Persons with Autistic Spectrum Disorders was analyzed, as well as the Political-Pedagogical Project (PPP) and the Institutional Development Plan (PDI) of the university where the pedagogy course is located, linked to answer questions related to the theoretical-epistemological foundations that support the National Policy for the Protection of the Rights of the person with ASD and if the projects linked to the researched institution express determinations established by the referred Policy. The results pointed a gap in the approach to special and inclusive education when it comes to the visibility of the inclusion of people with ASD in the analyzed documents, so that, annually, future teachers may be in the job market without sufficient qualification to work in education special.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo tuvo como objetivo analizar la propuesta de formación de un curso de pedagogía en una universidad pública del interior del estado de São Paulo y las conexiones con la Política Nacional de Protección de los Derechos de las Personas con Trastorno del Espectro Autista. En la investigación de estudio de caso se utilizó el recurso metodológico de análisis documental basado en la teoría históricocultural. Se analizó la legislación relativa a la Política Nacional de Protección de los Derechos de las Personas con Trastorno del Espectro Autista, así como el Proyecto Político-Pedagógico (PPP) y el Plan de Desarrollo Institucional (PDI) de la universidad donde se ubica la carrera de Pedagogía, si se vincula a responder preguntas relacionadas con los fundamentos teórico-epistemológicos que sustenten la Política Nacional de Protección de los Derechos de las personas con TEA y si los proyectos vinculados a la institución investigada expresan determinaciones establecidas por la referida política. Los resultados revelaron un vacío en el abordaje de la educación especial e inclusiva en cuanto a la visibilización de la inclusión de las personas con TEA en los documentos analizados, por lo que, anualmente, los futuros docentes pueden estar en el mercado laboral sin la calificación suficiente para desempeñarse en especial educación.]]></p></abstract>
