No ano de 2022, foi realizada uma breve pesquisa em portais acadêmicos, constatando a escassez de literatura que embasasse o planejamento de aulas de circo para alunos surdos. Diante dessa escassez, buscamos estabelecer parcerias com projetos de extensão ligados à Universidade Federal Fluminense, como os projetos de pesquisa e extensão Libras, Linguística e Divulgação (LiLinDiv) e Prax-circense. Mesmo diante da escassa literatura foi possível identificar sinais já existentes para as atividades circenses, num quantitativo de 37 sinais as quais foram sistematizadas em um glossário, disponibilizado por meio da Plataforma Libras Acadêmica UFF da Universidade Federal Fluminense. Os dados obtidos neste estudo permitiram identificar lacunas na existência de sinais na Língua Brasileira de Sinais no que se refere às atividades circenses, além da falta de sinais para os procedimentos didático-pedagógicos. Além disso, estimamos que essas sínteses possam fornecer subsídios para futuras pesquisas nessa área.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The main objective of this research was to carry out a survey of the state of art of signs for teaching of circus activities in the school context, using Brazilian Sign Language. In the year 2022, a brief survey was conducted on academic platforms, revealing a scarcity of literature that could support the planning of circus classes for deaf students. Faced with this scarcity, we sought to establish partnerships with extension projects affiliated with the Federal Fluminense University, such as the Libras, Linguistics, and Dissemination Extension Project (LiLinDiv) and the Prax-circense Project. Even in the face of limited literature, it was possible to identify existing signs for circus activities, totaling 37 signs that were systematized into a glossary, made available through the UFF Academic Libras Platform of the Federal Fluminense University. The data obtained in this study allowed for the identification of gaps in the existence of signs in Brazilian Sign Language concerning circus activities, as well as a lack of signs for didactic and pedagogical procedures. Additionally, we estimate that these syntheses may provide support for future research in this field.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El objetivo principal de esta investigación fue realizar un estudio del estado del arte de los signos para la enseñanza de las actividades circenses en el contexto escolar, utilizando la Lengua Brasileña de Señas. En el año 2022, se realizó una breve investigación en plataformas académicas, constatando la escasez de literatura que fundamentara la planificación de clases de circo para estudiantes sordos. Ante esta escasez, buscamos establecer colaboraciones con proyectos de extensión afiliados a la Universidad Federal Fluminense, como el proyecto de extensión Libras, Lingüística y Divulgación (LiLinDiv) y el Proyecto Prax-circense. A pesar de la limitada literatura, fue posible identificar señas existentes para las actividades circenses, totalizando 37 señas que fueron sistematizadas en un glosario, disponible a través de la Plataforma Libras Académica UFF de la Universidad Federal Fluminense. Los datos obtenidos en este estudio permitieron identificar brechas en la existencia de señas en la Lengua Brasileña de Señas en lo que respecta a las actividades circenses, además de la falta de señas para los procedimientos didáctico-pedagógicos. Asimismo, estimamos que estas síntesis pueden brindar apoyo para investigaciones futuras en esta área.]]></p></abstract>
