Esse debate já ocorre na educação, porém precisa ser mais explorado na educação de jovens e adultos (EJA). O presente ensaio visa refletir sobre a EJA e os desafios da inclusão digital no mundo contemporâneo, à luz das dificuldades estruturais e tecnológicas que atravessam esta modalidade da educação básica. A pesquisa se baseia em método qualitativo, com análise bibliográfica e de dados secundários, valendo-se de abordagem crítica em diálogo com teorias de Arendt (2014) sobre a condição humana e a produção sobre letramento e tecnologias digitais de informação e comunicação (TDICs) na educação, com centralidade nas categorias humanização e letramento digital. As reflexões apontam que a inclusão digital para ser real deve ir além do simples acesso às tecnologias. Assumir a inclusão assente em efetivo letramento digital na EJA é, sobretudo, um projeto humanizador.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The Covid pandemic has made the relationship with the digital world more intense and challenging. This debate already occurs in education, but it needs to be further explored in youth and adult education (YAE). This essay aims to reflect on YAE and the challenges of digital inclusion in the contemporary world, in light of the structural and technological difficulties that this modality of basic education faces. The research is based on a qualitative method, with bibliographic and secondary data analysis, based on a critical approach in dialogue with Arendt's (2014) theories on the human condition and the production on literacy and DICTs in education, with the centrality of the humanization categories and digital literacy. The reflections point out that digital inclusion, to be real, must go beyond simple access to technologies. Assuming inclusion based on effective digital literacy in YAE is, above all, a humanizing project.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen La pandemia de COVID ha hecho que la relación con el mundo digital sea más intensa y desafiante. Este debate ya ocurre en la educación, pero es necesario explorarlo más a fondo en la educación de personas jóvenes y adultas (EPJA). Este ensayo pretende reflexionar sobre la EPJA y los desafíos de la inclusión digital en el mundo contemporáneo, a la luz de las dificultades estructurales y tecnológicas que enfrenta esta modalidad de educación básica. La investigación se basa en un método cualitativo, con análisis bibliográfico y de datos secundarios, basado en un enfoque crítico en diálogo con las teorías de Arendt (2014) sobre la condición humana y la producción sobre alfabetización y TDIC en educación, con la centralidad de las categorías de humanización y alfabetización digital. Las reflexiones señalan que la inclusión digital, para ser real, debe ir más allá del simple acceso a las tecnologías. Asumir la inclusión basada en una alfabetización digital efectiva en EPJA es, ante todo, un proyecto humanizador.]]></p></abstract>
