Utilizando abordagem de pesquisa de campo e adotando fundamentos conceituais e metodológicos da etnogra&#64257;a dialógica, o artigo explora especi&#64257;camente contribuições da musicalidade da capoeira para o processo de emancipação dessas mulheres. O questionamento central orientador do estudo é direcionado para a compreensão de como a musicalidade na capoeira desempenha papel signi&#64257;cativo no processo de emancipação das mulheres capoeiristas. A análise se desenvolve no contexto do coletivo Mulheres de Luanda, buscando promover um espaço re&#64258;exivo que propicie visibilidade e protagonismo feminino. Essa iniciativa visa criar um ambiente propício para o compartilhamento de experiências, a escuta atenta e a condução de debates fundamentais para a valorização das narrativas apresentadas pelas mulheres capoeiristas. Os resultados obtidos durante a pesquisa de campo revelam a persistência de preconceitos em relação à participação feminina na capoeira, destacando a existência de relações de poder que permeiam diversos aspectos, como o corpo, o jogo e a musicalidade dentro das rodas. Além disso, são identi&#64257;cadas barreiras que a própria capoeira e seus agentes precisam superar para integrar, de maneira mais efetiva, as mulheres nessa prática.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This study aims to investigate the challenges faced by capoeira women in their search for protagonism and recognition in the context of capoeira, an Afro-Brazilian cultural manifestation intrinsically immersed in sociocultural dynamics permeated by gender con&#64258;icts. Using a &#64257;eld research approach and adopting the conceptual and methodological foundations of dialogical ethnography, the article speci&#64257;cally explores the contributions of capoeira music to the emancipation process of these women. The central question that guides the studio is aimed at understanding how musicality in capoeira plays a signi&#64257;cant role in the process of emancipation of capoeira women. The analysis takes place in the context of the Women of Luanda collective, seeking to promote a re&#64258;ective space that provides visibility and female protagonism. This initiative aims to create an environment conducive to sharing experiences, listening attentively and holding fundamental debates to value the narratives presented by women capoeiristas. The results obtained during the &#64257;eld investigation reveal the persistence of harm regarding female participation in capoeira, highlighting the existence of power relationships that permeate different aspects, such as the body, the game and the musicality within the circle. Furthermore, barriers are identi&#64257;ed that capoeira itself and its agents must overcome to integrate women more effectively into this practice.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El presente estudio tiene como objetivo investigar los desafíos que enfrentan las mujeres capoeiristas en su búsqueda de protagonismo y reconocimiento en el contexto de la capoeira, una manifestación cultural afrobrasileña intrínsecamente inmersa en dinámicas socioculturales permeadas por con&#64258;ictos de género. Utilizando un enfoque de investigación de campo y adoptando los fundamentos conceptuales y metodológicos de la etnografía dialógica, el artículo explora especí&#64257;camente las contribuciones de la musicalidad de la capoeira al proceso de emancipación de estas mujeres. La pregunta central que guía el estudio está dirigida a comprender cómo la musicalidad en la capoeira juega un papel signi&#64257;cativo en el proceso de emancipación de las mujeres capoeiristas. El análisis se desarrolla en el contexto del colectivo Mujeres de Luanda, buscando promover un espacio re&#64258;exivo que brinde visibilidad y protagonismo femenino. Esta iniciativa tiene como objetivo crear un ambiente propicio para compartir experiencias, escuchar atentamente y realizar debates fundamentales para valorar las narrativas presentadas por las mujeres capoeiristas. Los resultados obtenidos durante la investigación de campo revelan la persistencia de prejuicios respecto de la participación femenina en la capoeira, destacando la existencia de relaciones de poder que permean diferentes aspectos, como el cuerpo, el juego y la musicalidad dentro de la roda.
