O estudo é de abordagem qualitativa, amparado pelos pressupostos da pesquisa participante e como instrumento de produção de dados foram utilizados os círculos epistemológicos, ancorados nos círculos de cultura freireanos, realizados com onze professores da educação de jovens e adultos, a partir de três eixos, sendo o 1º Eixo: EJA campo; 2º Eixo: ERER na EJA campo; 3º Eixo: formação continuada para ERER na EJA campo, sendo analisados com o suporte da análise de conteúdo (Bardin, 1977). O trabalho revelou que quando os professores abordam nas aulas a religião de matriz africana, os estudantes apresentam resistência e ainda há falta de planejamento; e como possibilidades os docentes veem o trabalho com a cultura e a tradição africana, que se mantêm vivas nas comunidades camponesas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This paper presents the results of a research that aimed to reflect, through dialogue with teachers in a rural school, on possible pathways for addressing ethnic-racial relations education in rural youth and adult education. The study follows a qualitative approach, grounded in the principles of participatory research. The data was collected using epistemological circles, which are based on Freire cultural circle principles, conducted with eleven teachers in youth and adult education basic on three axes, being the 1st Axis: EJA campo; 2nd Axis: ERER in EJA campo; 3rd Axis: continuing education for ERER in EJA campo. The data was analyzed using content analysis (Bardin, 1977). The study revealed that when teachers address African religions in their classes, students show resistance, and there is a lack of planning. As improvement, educators see opportunities in working with African culture and traditions, which remain alive in rural communities.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen El artículo presenta resultados de una investigación que buscó reflexionar a través del diálogo con profesores de una escuela rural sobre los posibles itinerarios para abordar la educación de las relaciones étnico-raciales (ERER) en la educación de jóvenes y adultos (EJA) en el campo. El estudio tiene un enfoque cualitativo, respaldado por los presupuestos de la investigación participativa, y como instrumento de producción de datos se utilizaron los círculos epistemológicos, basados en los círculos de cultura de Freire, realizados con once profesores de la educación de jóvenes y adultos, a partir de tres ejes, siendo el 1º Eje: EJA campo; 2º Eje: ERER en EJA campo; 3º Eje: formación continua para ERER en EJA campo y analizados con el apoyo del análisis de contenido (Bardin, 1977).
