Método: Trata-se de um estudo exploratório documental com abordagem quantitativa e descritiva na construção e na análise de dados, que foi realizado em duas escolas públicas municipais, em Juazeiro, Bahia (BA) e Petrolina, Pernambuco (PE), com alunos da EJA, através do instrumento Whoqol Bref, de um questionário elaborado pelas pesquisadoras e da análise de um banco de dados com os resultados de aprendizagem bimestrais.  Resultados: Ao analisar os scores de qualidade de vida geral e seus domínios, evidenciaram-se valores médios mais elevados para o domínio psicológico e scores médios mais baixos para o domínio ambiente. Os resultados dos scores de qualidade de vida evidenciaram que não houve correlação significativa com os baixos resultados de aprendizagem, entretanto, apresentaram um score baixo para qualidade de vida.  Conclusão: Recomenda-se a necessidade por parte das redes de ensino, instituírem ações voltadas para a promoção da saúde e qualidade de vida dos estudantes da EJA, a fim de trazer benefícios, para que estes consigam cumprir sua trajetória escolar de forma plena e significativa.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Objective: To analyze the quality of life of youth and adult education (EJA) students and the impact on learning.  Method: This is an exploratory documentary study with a quantitative and descriptive approach in the construction and analysis of data, which was carried out in two municipal public schools, in Juazeiro, Bahia (BA) e Petrolina, Pernambuco (PE), with EJA students, using the Whoqol instrument Bref, a questionnaire prepared by the researchers and the analysis of a database with bimonthly learning results.  Results: When analyzing the general quality of life scores and their domains, higher average values were evident for the psychological domain and lower average scores for the environment domain. The results of the quality of life scores showed that there was no significant correlation with low learning results, however, they presented a low score for quality of life.  Conclusion: It is recommended that education networks need to institute actions aimed at promoting the health and quality of life of EJA students, in order to bring benefits, so that they can complete their school trajectory in a full and meaningful way.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  Objetivo: Analizar la calidad de vida de los estudiantes de educación de jóvenes y adultos (EJA) y el impacto en el aprendizaje.  Método: Se trata de un estudio documental exploratorio, con enfoque cuantitativo y descriptivo en la construcción y análisis de datos, realizado en dos escuelas públicas municipales, en Juazeiro, Bahia (BA) e Petrolina, Pernambuco (PE), con estudiantes de la EJA, utilizando el instrumento Whoqol Bref, un cuestionario elaborado por los investigadores y el análisis de una base de datos con resultados de aprendizaje bimestrales.  Resultados: Al analizar los puntajes de calidad de vida general y sus dominios, se evidenciaron valores promedio más altos para el dominio psicológico y puntajes promedio más bajos para el dominio medio ambiente. Los resultados de los puntajes de calidad de vida mostraron que no hubo correlación significativa con bajos resultados de aprendizaje, sin embargo, presentaron un puntaje bajo en calidad de vida.  Conclusión: Se recomienda que las redes educativas instituyan acciones encaminadas a promover la salud y la calidad de vida de los estudiantes de la EJA, con el fin de traer beneficios, para que puedan completar su trayectoria escolar de manera plena y significativa.]]></p></abstract>
