Nos caminhos da História Oral indagamos: como a presença de corpos não hegemônicos de pessoas negras e homossexuais são interditados em espaços educacionais e artísticos? Enfatizamos a temporalidade entre 1990 e 2006 por relacionar-se ao percurso de formação universitária e militante do sujeito protagonizado na pesquisa. Priorizamos fragmentos de documentos orais produzidos mediante entrevistas realizadas com contemporâneos do artista e trechos de sua autobiografia. Interpretamos que Raimundo Pereira interrompeu sua trajetória acadêmica em razão do conjunto de opressões sobrepostas e indissociáveis de suas identidades homossexual, de classe, raça e regionalidade. Assim, argumentamos que discursos meritocráticos, antigênero, racistas e classistas desconsideram fatores históricos e operam por meio da produção de estereótipos negativos, culpabilizando grupos vulnerabilizados, desresponsabilizando o Estado e a sociedade quanto a medidas de reparação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article aims to reflect, based on the trajectory of opera singer Raimundo Pereira, on obstacles historically imposed on the education of subordinated people. In the paths of Oral History, we ask: how is the presence of non-hegemonic bodies of black and homosexual people prohibited in educational and artistic spaces? We emphasize the temporality between 1990 and 2006 as it relates to the university and activist training path of the subject starring in the research. We prioritize fragments of oral documents produced through interviews carried out with the artist's contemporaries and excerpts from his autobiography. We interpret that Raimundo Pereira interrupted his academic trajectory due to the set of overlapping and inseparable oppressions of his homosexual, class, racial and regional identities. Thus, we argue that meritocratic, anti-gender, racist and classist discourses disregard historical factors and operate through the production of negative stereotypes, blaming vulnerable groups, depriving the State and society of responsibility for reparation measures.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo tiene como objetivo reflexionar, a partir de la trayectoria del cantante de ópera Raimundo Pereira, sobre los obstáculos impuestos históricamente a la educación de personas subordinadas. En los caminos de Historia Oral nos preguntamos: ¿cómo se prohíbe la presencia de cuerpos no hegemónicos de personas negras y homosexuales en los espacios educativos y artísticos? Destacamos la temporalidad entre 1990 y 2006 en cuanto se relaciona con el transcurso de la formación universitaria y militante del sujeto realizado en la investigación. Priorizamos fragmentos de documentos orales producidos a través de entrevistas con contemporáneos del artista y extractos de su autobiografía. Interpretamos que Raimundo Pereira interrumpió su trayectoria académica por el conjunto de opresiones superpuestas que son inseparables de sus identidades homosexual, de clase, racial y regional. Así, argumentamos que los discursos meritocráticos, anti-género, racistas y clasistas desestiman factores históricos y operan a través de la producción de estereotipos negativos, culpabilizando a grupos vulnerables, restando responsabilidad al Estado y a la sociedad en las medidas de reparación.]]></p></abstract>
