Portanto, o objetivo desse estudo foi realizar uma breve discussão mediante os dados do IBGE de 2023 e da nota técnica: &#8220;Desigualdades étnico-raciais nas matrículas e na conclusão do Ensino Médio&#8221;, produzida pela Organização Não Governamental (ONG) Todos pela Educação. A análise documental possibilitou realizar inferências e estabelecer diálogo com os dados apresentados, contribuindo com os resultados. Pode-se concluir que embora tenha ocorrido crescimento do número de jovens negros no Ensino Médio nos últimos anos, ainda vivemos desafios referente ao acesso e permanência desses jovens nessa etapa da escolarização da Educação Básica, dentre esses desafios encontra-se a permanência das assimetrias sociais nas instituições educacionais, tais como o racismo.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract When analyzing the history of high school in terms of access and retention of young people at this stage of schooling, young black people are protagonists of years of exclusion from the educational system. Therefore, the objective of this study was to carry out a brief discussion using IBGE data from 2023 and the technical note: &#8220;Ethnic-racial inequalities in enrollment and completion of high school&#8221;, produced by the NonGovernmental Organization (NGO) Todos pela Educação. Document analysis made it possible to make inferences and establish dialogue with the data presented, contributing to the results. It can be concluded that although there has been an increase in the number of young black people in high school in recent years, we still face challenges regarding the access and permanence of these young people in this stage of Basic Education schooling, among these challenges is the persistence of social asymmetries in educational institutions, such as racism.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Al analizar la historia de la escuela secundaria en términos de acceso y retención de los jóvenes en esta etapa de escolarización, los jóvenes negros son protagonistas de años de exclusión del sistema educativo. Por lo tanto, el objetivo de este estudio fue realizar una breve discusión utilizando datos del IBGE de 2023 y la nota técnica: &#8220;Desigualdades étnico-raciales en la matrícula y finalización de la escuela secundaria&#8221;, elaborada por la Organización No Gubernamental (ONG) Toda pela. Educación. El análisis de documentos permitió hacer inferencias y establecer diálogo con los datos presentados, contribuyendo a los resultados. Se puede concluir que, si bien ha habido un aumento en el número de jóvenes negros en la escuela secundaria en los últimos años, aún enfrentamos desafíos en cuanto al acceso y permanencia de estos jóvenes en esta etapa de escolarización de la Educación Básica, entre estos desafíos se encuentra la persistencia de asimetrías sociales en las instituciones educativas, como el racismo.]]></p></abstract>
