Este artigo discute os conceitos de narrativa, sua expansão em diferentes campos de pesquisa, principalmente, em educação, e têm sido utilizados à educação como constructo metodológico. Foi apresentada a variedade de narrativas e estas, na conjuntura da pesquisa em educação. Discutiu-se a potência das narrativas nas produções acadêmicas como elemento auxiliar ao pesquisador, para interpretar, analisar e coordenar os acontecimentos relatados em diversificados cenários, incididos aqui, em educação, contextualizados em tempos e espaços diversos que fazem parte das investigações nas pesquisas educacionais contemporâneas, em função da amplitude das ciências sociais. O método utilizado foi pesquisa bibliográfica de autores que versam sobre o tema, encontrado em artigos, dissertações e teses, pesquisado no Google Acadêmico e na plataforma Sciello. Conclui-se que as narrativas são elementos importantes na pesquisa educacional, uma vez que levantam percepções e conhecimentos, até então, não percebidas no ambiente escolar, que são importantes na compreensão e revitalização da educação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract The word narrative has been used to designate reports, stories, conversations, born from people&#8217;s daily lives. This article discusses the concepts of narrative, its expansion in different fields of research, mainly in education, and which have been used in education as a methodological construct. The variety of narratives and these were presented in the context of education research. The power of narratives in academic productions was discussed as an auxiliary element for researchers to interpret, analyze and coordinate events reported in diverse scenarios, focused here in education, contextualized in different times and spaces that are part of investigations in contemporary educational research, depending on the breadth of social sciences. The method used was bibliographical research of authors who deal with the topic, found in articles, dissertations and theses, searched on Google Scholar and on the Sciello platform. It is concluded that narratives are important elements in educational research, as they raise perceptions and knowledge, hitherto not perceived in the school environment, which are important in understanding and revitalizing education.]]></p></abstract>

Este artículo analiza los conceptos de narrativa, su expansión em diferentes campos de investigación, principalmente em educación, y han sido utilizados en educación como constructo metodológico. La variedad de narrativas y estas fueron presentadas en el contexto de la investigación em educación. Se discutió el poder de las narrativas en las producciones académicas como elemento auxiliar para interpretar, analizar y coordinar los acontecimientos relatados em diversos escenarios, aquí contextualizados em diferentes tiempos y espacios que forman parte de las investigaciones en la educación contemporánea, dependiendo de la amplitud de las ciencias sociales. El método utilizado fue la búsqueda bibliográfica de autores que abordan el tema encontrado em Google Scholar, em la plataforma Sciello. Se concluye que las narrativas son elementos importantes em la investigación educativa, ya que plantean percepciones e conocimientos em el ambiente escolar, que son importantes para comprender y revitalizar la educación.]]></p></abstract>
