O objetivo foi investigar o processo formativo no contexto da Educação Profissional e Tecnológica - EPT, quanto às questões de gênero, vivenciadas pelas jovens mulheres egressas do Curso Técnico em Agroindústria Integrado ao Médio do IFSP. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de abordagem qualitativa, de tipo exploratória, por meio da revisão bibliográfica, análise documental e aplicação de questionário semiestruturado. Como resultados, houve a participação de 63 egressas, de um universo de 197 jovens mulheres. Nota-se que a EPT ao alcançar as mulheres reproduziu um padrão e estereótipo de gênero no âmbito da criação de seus cursos. Atualmente, tem o potencial de ser um lugar de transformação, já que as mulheres são maioria nas matrículas. Contudo, pela pesquisa, ainda enfrentam questões estruturais que perpetuam desigualdades e opressões. Assim, cumpre que os cursos técnicos necessitam agir com práticas que deem condições para as estudantes permanecerem com êxito em seus processos formativos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article is on the divergent context of a group of young women advancing in the training of a field of knowledge that has historically been denied to them. The objective is investigating the educational process within the context of -Vocational School (VS), focusing on gender issues experienced by young female graduates of the Technical Course in Agroindustry Integrated with Secondary Education at IFSP. The study employed a qualitative and exploratory approach, using literature review, documentary analysis, and a semistructured questionnaire. As a result, 63 graduates participated in the study, out of a total of 197 young women. The findings indicate that while VS has expanded to include women, it has historically reproduced gender patterns and stereotypes in the structuring of its courses. Although VS has the potential to be a space for transformation-given that women now constitute the majority of enrollments-structural barriers persist, perpetuating inequalities and oppression. Thus, vocational courses need to implement practices that ensure students&#8217; retention and success in their educational trajectories.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo aborda el contexto divergente de un grupo de jóvenes mujeres que avanzan en la formación dentro de un campo del conocimiento que históricamente les ha sido negado. El objetivo fue investigar el proceso formativo en el contexto de la Educación Profesional y Tecnológica - EPT, centrándose en las cuestiones de género vivenciadas por las jóvenes mujeres egresadas del Curso Técnico en Agroindustria Integrado a la Educación Secundaria en el IFSP. Se trata de un estudio con un enfoque cualitativo y exploratorio, que empleó revisión bibliográfica, análisis documental y la aplicación de un cuestionario semiestructurado. Como resultado, participaron en la investigación 63 egresadas de un total de 197 jóvenes mujeres. Los hallazgos indican que, aunque la EPT ha ampliado el acceso a las mujeres, ha reproducido patrones y estereotipos de género en la estructuración de sus cursos. A pesar de que la EPT tiene el potencial de ser un espacio de transformación-ya que las mujeres representan actualmente la mayoría de las matrículas-persisten barreras estructurales que perpetúan desigualdades y opresiones. Por lo tanto, los cursos técnicos deben implementar prácticas que garanticen la permanencia y el éxito de las estudiantes en sus trayectorias formativas.]]></p></abstract>
