Con siderando tal realidade, o objetivo deste estudo consiste em analisar a abordagem de pesquisa quanti-qualitativa, dando &#234;nfase a suas aplica&#231;&#245;es no campo educa cional. O trabalho apresenta as diferencia&#231;&#245;es entre as abordagens quantitativa e qualitativa e, posteriormente, a an&#225;lise do debate da literatura da &#225;rea, que defende a converg&#234;ncia de ambas as abordagens como alternativa a ser seguida nas ci&#234;n cias humanas, superando a dicotomia quantitativa-qualitativa. Esta defesa se pauta no entendimento que o qualitativo e o quantitativo se complementam e podem ser utilizados em conjunto nas pesquisas, possibilitando melhor contribui&#231;&#227;o para compreender os fen&#244;menos educacionais investigados, que a cada vez mais se apresentam a partir de m&#250;ltiplas facetas. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract:  One of the large discussions that have been the target of constant aca demic debates in the humanities, concerning the study of scientific methodology, is the predominance of the qualitative approach under the quantitative. Conside ring this fact, the aim of this study is to analyze the quanti-qualitative approach, emphasizing their applications in the educational field. The paper presents the differences between quantitative and qualitative approaches and then the analy sis of the debate of the literature of the area, which advocates the convergence of both approaches as an alternative to be followed in the human sciences, ex ceeding the quantitative-qualitative dichotomy. This defense is guided on the understanding that the qualitative and quantitative complement each other and can be used in conjunction in the researches, enabling better contribution to un derstand the educational phenomena investigated, that ever more are presented from multiple facets.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Uno de los grandes debates que han sido objeto de constantes deba tes acad&#233;micos en humanidades, en relaci&#243;n con el estudio de la metodolog&#237;a cient&#237;fica, es el predominio del enfoque cualitativo en lo cuantitativo. Teniendo en cuenta este hecho, el objetivo de este estudio es analizar el enfoque de inves tigaci&#243;n cuantitativa y cualitativa, con &#233;nfasis en sus aplicaciones en el campo de la educaci&#243;n.El art&#237;culo presenta las diferencias entre lo cuantitativo y lo cualitativo y lo posteriormente el an&#225;lisis de la literatura en esta &#225;rea debate, que apoya la convergencia de ambos enfoques como alternativas a seguir en las ciencias de la vida, la superaci&#243;n de la dicotom&#237;a cuantitativo y cualitativo. Esta defensa se gu&#237;a en la comprensi&#243;n del complemento cualitativa y cuantitativa entre s&#237; y se puede utilizar juntos en las urnas, lo que permite una mejor contri buci&#243;n a la comprensi&#243;n de los fen&#243;menos educativos investigados, la cada vez m&#225;s presente de m&#250;ltiples Facetas.]]></p></abstract>
