Foram entrevistados 22 professores iniciantes dos anos finais do Ensino Fundamental e a abordagem qualitativa permeou a pesquisa. Fundamentam teoricamente esta investiga&#231;&#227;o os seguintes autores: Demailly-Chantraine (1992), N&#243;voa (1997, 2009), Can&#225;rio (1998), entre outros. Os resultados revelaram que os professores iniciantes foram bem recebidos nas escolas e que h&#225; acompanhamento do seu trabalho, principalmente pela figura do Supervisor Escolar, o que facilita a forma&#231;&#227;o em trabalho desses docentes. O que mais contribui para a forma&#231;&#227;o dos iniciantes s&#227;o as partilhas e trocas de ideias e experi&#234;ncias com os colegas professores. Tais aspectos permitem considerar a escola como espa&#231;o de forma&#231;&#227;o por ser constituidor de saberes e fazeres docentes. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This article discusses the formation in school environment and the aims to discuss the training in service of beginning teachers. Interviews were conducted with 22 beginning teachers of Elementary School's final years and the qualitative approach guided the investigation process. Theoretically support this research the following authors: Demailly-Chantraine (1992), N&#243;voa (1997, 2009) and Can&#225;rio (1998) among others. The results revealed that beginning teachers were well received in schools and that they are accompanied in their work, mainly by the school supervisor, which facilitates greatly the training in service of these teachers. What else contributes to the formation of the beginning teachers is the sharing and the exchange of ideas and experiences with the workmates. These features allow us to consider the school as a formation space for being constitutor of knowledge and practices teachers.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Este art&#237;culo tiene como escenario la formaci&#243;n en espacios escolares y como objetivo discutir la formaci&#243;n en el trabajo de los profesores principiantes. Se entrevist&#243; a 22 profesores principiantes de los &#250;ltimos a&#241;os de la ense&#241;anza primaria y el enfoque cualitativo ha guiado el proceso de investigaci&#243;n. Te&#243;ricamente apoyan esta investigaci&#243;n los autores siguientes: Demailly-Chantraine (1992), N&#243;voa (1997, 2009) y Can&#225;rio (1998), entre otros. Los resultados revelaron que los profesores principiantes fueron bien recibidos en las escuelas y qu&#233; est&#225;n acompa&#241;ados en su trabajo, principalmente por el supervisor de la escuela, lo que facilita en gran medida la formaci&#243;n en el trabajo de estos maestros. Lo que m&#225;s contribuye a la formaci&#243;n de los principiantes es compartir y el intercambio de ideas y experiencias con otros profesores. Estas caracter&#237;sticas nos permiten considerar la escuela como un espacio de formaci&#243;n por ser constitutor de conocimientos y pr&#225;cticas docentes. ]]></p></abstract>
