A organiza&#231;&#227;o do debate se deu conforme modelo espec&#237;fico que preconiza a realiza&#231;&#227;o de atividades pr&#233;vias, entendidas como condi&#231;&#227;o de produ&#231;&#227;o para a constru&#231;&#227;o de argumentos e sentidos. O registro audiovisual do debate, obtido no &#226;mbito de uma pesquisa-a&#231;&#227;o, foi analisado qualitativamente segundo preceitos fundamentais da L&#243;gica Informal. A an&#225;lise revelou ind&#237;cios de variedade de argumentos elaborados pelos estudantes ao defenderem seus posicionamentos, de contribui&#231;&#245;es ao desenvolvimento de certos aspectos cognitivos e de proficuidade em se trabalharem na escola a apropria&#231;&#227;o do g&#234;nero discursivo "debate" e conceitos b&#225;sicos relacionados &#224; capacidade argumentativa.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: En este trabajo, analizamos el desarrollo de un debate escolar realizado por estudiantes del tercer a&#241;o de la Secundaria acerca de tem&#225;ticas cient&#237;ficas contempor&#225;neas pol&#233;micas, a partir de la lectura de textos de divulgaci&#243;n cient&#237;fica. La organizaci&#243;n del debate ocurri&#243; de acuerdo con modelo espec&#237;fico que preconiza la realizaci&#243;n de actividades previas, comprendidas como condici&#243;n de producci&#243;n para la construcci&#243;n de argumentos y sentidos. El registro audiovisual del debate, obtenida en el &#225;mbito de una investigaci&#243;n-acci&#243;n, fue analizado cualitativamente segundo preceptos fundamentales de la L&#243;gica Informal. El an&#225;lisis revel&#243; indicios de variedad de argumentos elaborados por los estudiantes al defender sus posicionamientos, de contribuciones al desarrollo de algunos aspectos cognitivos, de utilidad en trabajar en la escuela la apropiaci&#243;n del g&#233;nero discursivo "debate" y conceptos b&#225;sicos relacionados a la capacidad argumentativa.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This study analyzes the development of an academic debate about controversial contemporary scientific themes by students in the third year of high school. The debate was motivated by reading scientific divulgation texts. The organization of the debate occurred as a specific model that proposes previous activities, understood as conditions for the construction of arguments and senses. The audiovisual record of the debate was qualitatively analyzed according fundamental concepts of Informal Logic. The analysis revealed evidences of a variety of arguments conceived by students to defend their positions, contributions for the development of certain cognitive aspects, the importance of the genre "debate's" appropriation discursive and basic concepts related to argumentative capacity.]]></p></abstract>
