Para verificar tal hipótese, analisamos, numa perspectiva indiciária, a trajetória de uma professora de Física desde seu ingresso na licenciatura de uma universidade pública até sua participação em um curso de Mestrado Profissional. Metodologicamente, optamos pela tradição qualitativa de pesquisa e utilizamos como fonte de dados uma entrevista semiestruturada realizada com a professora. A análise dos dados seguiu um esquema que compreende o desenvolvimento profissional constituído por diferentes dimensões relacionadas aos saberes docentes. Os resultados parecem confirmar a nossa hipótese, mostrando a importância da continuidade e articulação de programas de formação inicial e continuada para favorecer o desenvolvimento profissional de professores de Ciências.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT: This work starts from the hypothesis that a process of professional teacher development that starts at graduation - supported by programs and projects to encourage teaching -, requires continuity in the participation of the teacher in other long-term training contexts. To verify that hypothesis, we have analyzed the trajectory of a Physics teacher who has completed a Professional Master, starting from her admission in Physics Teaching Program at a public University. Regarding methodology, we opted for the qualitative research tradition, using as the main source of data a flexible structured interview with the teacher. Data analysis was conducted following a scheme that understands professional development as constituted by different dimensions related to teaching knowledge. Results seem to confirm our hypothesis, making evident the relevance of the continuity and articulation between initial and continuing teacher&#8217;s education programs, to favor professional development of Science teachers.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN: Este trabajo parte de la hipótesis de que es fundamental que un proceso de formación de profesores que se inicia en los estudios de grado, apoyado en programas y proyectos de incentivo a la docencia, tenga continuidad por medio de la participación del profesor en otros contextos formativos de larga duración, para favorecer el desarrollo profesional. Para verificar tal hipótesis, analizamos la trayectoria de una profesora de Física egresada de un curso de Maestría profesional, desde su ingreso en el profesorado. Metodológicamente, optamos por la tradición cualitativa de investigación, utilizando como fuentes de datos una entrevista semi-estructurada. El análisis de los datos fue realizado siguiendo un esquema que comprende el desarrollo profesional constituido por diferentes dimensiones relacionadas con los saberes docentes. Los resultados parecen confirmar nuestra hipótesis, mostrando la importancia de la continuidad y articulación de programas de formación inicial y continua para favorecer el desarrollo profesional de profesores de Ciencias.]]></p></abstract>
