Proponho uma releitura dos resultados apesentados por Ana Paula Oliveira dos Santos e Bettina Heerdt à luz das obras de Sandra Harding, Judith Butler e Pierre Bourdieu. Como resultado, argumento que o gênero precisa ser reconhecido e denunciado como estruturante da racionalidade científica e da teoria biológica do sexo para que as ciências naturais não continuem contribuindo para a opressão das mulheres e da população LGBTQIAPN+. Qualquer projeto feminista de transformação social precisará transformar, também, as ciências biológicas e naturais.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN: Este informe de arbitraje se originó de la evaluación del artículo original de autoría de Ana Paula Oliveira dos Santos y Bettina Heerdt, publicado en el volumen 24 de 2023 de la revista Ensaio. Propongo una relectura de los resultados presentados por Ana Paula Oliveira dos Santos y Bettina Heerdt a la luz de las obras de Sandra Harding, Judith Butler y Pierre Bourdieu. Como resultado, sostengo que es necesario que el género sea reconocido y denunciado como estructurante de la racionalidad científica y de la teoría biológica del sexo para que las ciencias naturales no sigan contribuyendo a la opresión de las mujeres y de la población LGBTQIAPN+. Cualquier proyecto feminista de transformación social debe transformar también las ciencias biológicas y naturales.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT: This opinion article originates from the evaluation of the original article authored by Ana Paula Oliveira dos Santos and Bettina Heerdt, published in volume 24 of 2023 of Ensaio magazine. I propose a re-reading of the results presented by Ana Paula Oliveira dos Santos and Bettina Heerdt in the light of the works of Sandra Harding, Judith Butler and Pierre Bourdieu. As a result, I argue that gender needs to be recognized and denounced as structuring scientific rationality and the biological theory of sex so that natural sciences do not continue to contribute to the oppression of women and the LGBTQIAPN+ population. Any feminist project of social transformation will also need to transform the biological and natural sciences.]]></p></abstract>
