<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S1983-92782023000100105&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S1983-92782023000100105&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S1983-92782023000100105&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo Ao conceber o espaço do carnaval a partir das suas tensões socioeconômicas, políticas e culturais internas, a população negra de Salvador (BA) vem, desde a segunda metade do século XIX, elaborando formas de divertimentos que, para além do entretenimento, tanto denunciam a exclusão étnico-racial quanto anunciam possibilidades antirracistas de organização social. Tomando como base empírica o contexto do carnaval soteropolitano e como aporte teórico as contribuições de Paulo Freire e de outros autores do pensamento crítico brasileiro, este artigo examina como a dialética contida na relação denúncia/anúncio, expressas nas práticas comunitário-carnavalescas, constituiu uma epistemologia circular de natureza crítica e transformadora, indispensável às práxis pedagógicas de dois importantes fenômenos culturais afro-baianos, os afoxés e os blocos afros. Nesse sentido, foi possível constatar que a partir das bandas, dos ensaios, dos temas, dos festivais de música, dos festivais de beleza negra e da estética afrorreferenciada, das fantasias, das ações sociais e das escolas, principais elementos componentes da práxis afrocarnavalesca, saberes e valores são organicamente produzidos pelo conjunto entidades/comunidades/foliões(ãs), constituindo uma epistemologia de natureza nitidamente circular.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract In conceiving the space of carnival from its internal socioeconomic, political and cultural tensions, the black population of Salvador (BA) has been, since the second half of the 19th century, elaborating forms of entertainment that, in addition to entertainment, both denounce ethnic-racial exclusion and announce anti-racist possibilities of social organization. Taking as empirical basis the context of soteropolitan carnival and as a theoretical contribution the contributions of Paulo Freire and other authors of Brazilian critical thinking,and this article examines how the dialectic contained in the complaint/announcement relationship, expressed in the community-carnival practices, constituted a circular epistemology of a critical and transformative nature, indispensable to the pedagogical praxis of two important cultural phenomena afro-Bahians, afoxés and afro blocs. In this sense, it was possible to observe that from the bands, rehearsals, themes, music festivals, black beauty festivals and afro-referenced aesthetics, fantasies, social actions and schools, the main component elements of Afrocarnavalesca praxis, knowledge and values are organically produced by the set of entities/communities/revelers(s), constituting an epistemology of a clearly circular nature.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Al concebir el espacio del carnaval a partir de sus tensiones socioeconómicas, políticas y culturales internas, la población negra de Salvador (BA) ha estado, desde la segunda mitad del siglo 19, elaborando formas de entretenimiento que, además del entretenimiento, denuncian la exclusión étnico-racial y anuncian posibilidades antirracistas de organización social. Tomando como base empírica el contexto del carnaval soteropolitano y como contribución teórica las contribuciones de Paulo Freire y otros autores del pensamiento crítico brasileño, y este artículo examina cómo la dialéctica contenida en la relación queja/anuncio, expresada en las prácticas comunidad-carnaval, constituyó una epistemología circular de naturaleza crítica y transformadora, indispensable para la praxis pedagógica de dos importantes fenómenos culturales. afro-bahianos, afoxés y bloques afro. En este sentido, se pudo observar que a partir de las bandas, ensayos, temas, festivales de música, festivales de belleza negra y estética afroreferenciada, fantasías, acciones sociales y escuelas, los principales elementos componentes de la praxis afrocarnavalesca, el conocimiento y los valores son producidos orgánicamente por el conjunto de entidades/comunidades/juerguistas, constituyendo una epistemología de carácter claramente circular.]]></p></abstract>
