Empregou-se a pesquisa documental e bibliográfica, com referencial suportado por estudos multidisciplinares. As canções de Buarque, como obras que fundem o musical, o literário e o poético, apresentam riqueza temática e uma complexa trama, onde se entrelaçam elementos culturais, religiosos e históricos para comentar aspectos da sociedade brasileira. Ao examinar esta poética nas canções, o estudo não apenas contribui para revisitarmos uma vez mais a obra do artista, como oferece um percurso para a educação musical, o acesso à literatura e o letramento, que pode ser útil à educação básica e também à educação especializada.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract This article aims to develop a lyrical analysis of the compositions by Chico Buarque, focusing on the presence and place of the sacred in the lyrics of four of his songs, "Dueto," "Cálice," "Salmo," and "Sinhá." Employed a documentary and bibliographical research, supported by a framework based on multidisciplinary studies. Buarque's songs, as works that merge the musical, literary, and poetic realms, exhibit thematic richness and a complex plot, intertwining cultural, religious, and historical elements to comment on aspects of Brazilian society. By examining this poetic dimension in songs, the study not only contributes to revisiting the artist's oeuvre but also provides a pathway for music education, access to literature, and literacy, which can be beneficial for both basic and specialized education.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen Este artículo tiene como objetivo desarrollar un análisis lírico de las composiciones de Chico Buarque, desde la perspectiva de la presencia y el espacio de lo sagrado en las letras de cuatro de sus canciones: "Dueto", "Cálice", "Salmo" y "Sinhá". Se empleó la investigación documental y bibliográfica, con un marco de referencia respaldado por estudios multidisciplinarios. Las canciones de Buarque, como obras que fusionan lo musical, lo literario y lo poético, presentan una riqueza temática y una trama compleja, donde se entrelazan elementos culturales, religiosos e históricos para comentar aspectos de la sociedad brasileña. Al examinar esta poética en las canciones, el estudio no solo contribuye a revisitar una vez más la obra del artista, sino que también ofrece un camino para la educación musical, el acceso a la literatura y la alfabetización, que puede ser útil tanto en la educación básica como en la educación especializada.]]></p></abstract>
