A maioria dos surdos são filhos de pais ouvintes que desconhecem a Libras e o primeiro contato com essa língua pode ocorrer apenas no ambiente escolar. Com o quadro de isolamento social e a impossibilidade de abertura das escolas devido à pandemia do "Novo Coronavírus" estes problemas se agravaram. O projeto denominado #CasaLibras de atenção virtual em Libras às crianças surdas objetivou produzir vídeos com contações de histórias infantis diretamente em Libras. As ações justificam-se como forma de informar, entreter, bem como, estimular o contato dessa língua por crianças surdas em suas casas. Esse artigo pretende analisar esse cenário político, problematizando: 1) as concepções, filosófico-sociais, sobre a surdez, 2) a luta pela sobrevida surda, diante da falta de políticas públicas, sociais e educacionais, numa necropolítica que se afirma na produção da morte (simbólica e real de surdos, pela pauta da adequação de corpos surdos à língua oral e pela falta de informação, expondo-os mais ao risco) das diferenças surdas; e, por fim, 3) a análise dos resultados do projeto #CasaLibras voltado às crianças-surdas. Os dados sugerem uma ampla utilização das mídias e certa viralização da Libras, na pandemia, por meio da ação do povo. Destaca-se a positividade do projeto na promoção da acessibilidade para crianças-surdas e a urgência de ampliação das políticas inclusivas bilíngues que fortaleçam as singularidades dessas vidas, deixando-os menos vulneráveis, física e simbolicamente.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[abstract Studies point out challenges for the acquisition of the Brazilian sign language (Libras) by deaf children. Most deaf people are children of hearing parents who do not know Libras and the first contact with this language can occur only in the school environment. With the situation of social isolation and the impossibility of opening schools due to the "New Coronavirus" pandemic, these problems have worsened. The project called #CasaLibras of virtual attention in Libras for deaf children aimed to produce videos with children's storytelling directly in Libras. The actions are justified as a way of informing, entertaining, as well as, stimulating the contact of this language by deaf children in their homes. This article intends to analyze this political scenario, problematizing: 1) the philosophical-social conceptions about deafness, 2) the struggle for deaf survival, given the lack of public, social and educational policies, in a necropolitics that is affirmed in the production of death (symbolic and real for the deaf, due to the guidelines for the adaptation of deaf bodies to the oral language and the lack of information, exposing them to the risk) of deaf differences; and, finally, 3) the analysis of the results of the #CasaLibras project aimed at deaf children. The data suggest a widespread use of the media and some viralization of Libras, in the pandemic, through the action of the people. It highlights the positivity of the project in promoting accessibility for deaf children and the urgency of expanding inclusive bilingual policies that strengthen the singularities of these lives, leaving them less vulnerable, physically and symbolically.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[resumen Los estudios señalan los desafíos para la adquisición de la lengua de signos brasileña (Libras) por parte de niños sordos. La mayoría de las personas sordas son hijos de padres oyentes que no conocen Libra y el primer contacto con este idioma solo puede ocurrir en el entorno escolar. Con la situación de aislamiento social y la imposibilidad de abrir escuelas por la pandemia del "Nuevo Coronavirus", estos problemas se han agravado. El proyecto denominado #CasaLibras de atención virtual en Libras para niños sordos tenía como objetivo producir videos con cuentos infantiles directamente en Libras. Las acciones se justifican como una forma de informar, entretener, así como, estimular el contacto de este lenguaje por parte de los niños sordos en sus hogares. Este artículo pretende analizar este escenario político, problematizando: 1) las concepciones filosófico-sociales sobre la sordera, 2) la lucha por la supervivencia de los sordos, ante la falta de políticas públicas, sociales y educativas, en una necropolítica que se afirma en la producción de muerte (simbólica y real para los sordos, por las pautas de adaptación de los cuerpos sordos al lenguaje oral y la falta de información, exponiéndolos al riesgo) de las diferencias sordas; y, finalmente, 3) el análisis de los resultados del proyecto #CasaLibras dirigido a niños sordos. Los datos sugieren un uso generalizado de los medios de comunicación y una cierta viralización de Libras, en la pandemia, a través de la acción del pueblo.
