A experiência foi iniciada em 2011 e deu origem a um projeto de pesquisa, ensino e extensão, hoje em curso em escolas públicas. O projeto tem como fundamentação teórico-metodológica pensamentos críticos à escola voltada para a formação compreendida como utilitarista. Concepção esta que segue dominante, a despeito das inúmeras mudanças na base curricular, ao longo do tempo. Não parece razoável que a preocupação que promove as mudanças na organização curricular tome por base aspectos como o baixo rendimento na aprendizagem refletido em reprovações e &#8220;fracassos&#8221; ou no próprio abandono e evasão precoce da escola, sem que se questione as razões inerentes à experiência escolar. Diante desse fato, a reflexão aponta para a defesa de uma escola que possa ser compreendida como desinteressada na perspectiva de Gramsci e recorre à literatura e poesia como dispositivos para impulsionar o fazer pedagógico transformador. O estudo da literatura sobre poesia, assim como os resultados obtidos pela experiência em questão, permitem pensar uma concepção de escola revolucionária no sentido gramsciano e libertadora como propugnava Paulo Freire. Nesse sentido, propõe conexões com a felicidade, que conjuga o propósito da escola desinteressada com a filosofia de Epicuro. Na pesquisa, a poesia é compreendida como um caminho para se contemplar a valorização do lúdico, que é um aspecto dos mais relevantes para a aprendizagem nas infâncias.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[abstract This article offers a reflection that arose as a result of an experience with literature, poetry, and philosophy in school, specifically in early-grade primary school classes, starting in 2011. This experience led to a research, teaching, and professional development project that is now in progress in public schools. The project&#8217;s critical-methodological basis is a critique of schooling that is directed toward utilitarian ends. This approach has remained dominant, despite innumerable changes to the curriculum over the years. It is unfortunate that the concern that motivates curricular changes tends to be based on factors such as poor learning outcomes as reflected in students who fail grades, skip school, or drop out, without considering how these trends might be the product of their experience of school itself. In light of this, this article advocates for the type of schooling that Gramsci described as disinterested and proposes literature and poetry as tools to advance the transformative pedagogical project. A study of the scholarship on poetry, along with the insights gained from the experience in question, enables us to develop a conception of revolutionary schooling in the Gramscian and emancipatory sense as proposed by Paulo Freire. The article therefore proposes connections to happiness, which combines the objective of the disinterested school with Epicurean philosophy. Poetry is understood as a path through which to envisage the valorization of the ludic, which is among the most important aspects of childhood learning.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[resumen Este texto ofrece una reflexión nacida de una experiencia con la literatura, la poesía y también la filosofía en la escuela, con clases en los primeros años de la escuela primaria. La experiencia comenzó en 2011 y dio origen a un proyecto de investigación, enseñanza y extensión, actualmente en marcha en escuelas públicas. El proyecto tiene como fundamentación teórico-metodológica reflexiones críticas sobre la escuela que se vuelca a la formación entendiéndola como utilitaria. Concepción ésta que sigue siendo dominante, a pesar de los numerosos cambios en la base curricular a lo largo del tiempo. No parece razonable que la preocupación que promueve los cambios en la organización curricular se base en aspectos como el bajo rendimiento en el aprendizaje reflejado en reprobaciones y &#8220;fracasos&#8221; o en el abandono y deserción escolar precoces, sin que se cuestionen las razones inherentes a la experiencia escolar. Frente a este hecho, la reflexión apunta a la defensa de una escuela que pueda entenderse como desinteresada desde la perspectiva de Gramsci y recurre a la literatura y a la poesía como dispositivos para impulsar una práctica pedagógica transformadora. El estudio de la literatura sobre poesía, así como los resultados obtenidos a partir de la experiencia en cuestión, permiten pensar una concepción de escuela revolucionaria en el sentido gramsciano y liberadora como propugna Paulo Freire. En este sentido, propone conexiones con la felicidad, que combina el propósito de la escuela desinteresada con la filosofía de Epicuro. En la investigación se entiende la poesía como un camino para contemplarse la valorización de lo lúdico, que es un aspecto de los más relevantes para el aprendizaje en las infancias.]]></p></abstract>
