Para tanto, o objetivo geral foi delimitado na análise do percurso e das perspectivas dos alunos do 1° e do 4° ano, matriculados no curso técnico profissionalizante em escolas da rede federal de ensino denominadas Institutos Federais, considerando a relação entre educação escolar e formação profissional. O caminho metodológico empreendido no decurso dos estudos compreendeu uma abordagem qualitativa, de cunho documental, fundamentada pela legislação educacional e documentos institucionais. Os métodos utilizados contaram com a coleta de dados, por meio dos registros do desempenho dos alunos, entrevistas realizadas utilizando um questionário semiestruturado com alunos ingressantes, com os concluintes do Curso Técnico em Informática Integrado ao Ensino Médio e com docentes que ministraram aulas em as ambas as turmas. A realização do estudo proporcionou uma reflexão a respeito das motivações na escolha pelo ensino técnico e sobre as dificuldades e os obstáculos encontrados pelos alunos, assim contribuindo com um novo olhar com relação à educação e à formação profissional.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This article is a clipping of the master&#8217;s dissertation in education that was based in the analysis of the trajectory of students that attend professionalizing technical education integrated to High School and their school difficulties. For this purpose, the general objective was delimited on the analysis of the path and the perspectives of the students of 1th and 4th year, enrolled in professionalising technical course in federal network schools named Federal Institutes, considering the relation between school education and professional formation. The methodologic path undertaken during the course comprehended a qualitative approach, of documental nature, based on the educational law and institutional documents.The methods utilized are counted with data collection achieved through the analysis of the student performance records, interviews made utilizing a semi-structured survey with the incoming students and the graduating of Technical Course of Informatics integrated to High School and with professors that ministered classes to both courses. The accomplishment of the study provided a reflection concerning the motivation in choosing technical education and the difficulties and obstacles found by students, therefore contributing with a new view regarding education and professional education.]]></p></abstract>
