Assim sendo, o poder produz saber, o conhecimento é vontade de apropriação e dominação. Este artigo tem, como principal objetivo investigar as teias das relações que constituem docentes em enfermagem como sujeitos e, consequentemente, suas práticas no processo de educação em enfermagem, quanto saber/poder. Tal estudo é parte de uma pesquisa qualitativa com entrevistas, defendida no mestrado em educação, aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa e financiada pela CAPES1, na qual teve por sujeitos participantes oito docentes de uma Faculdade de Enfermagem do interior do estado de Minas Gerais. Foi utilizado como metodologia a análise discursiva filosófica, reflexiva e crítica, tendo por objeto de estudo dois discursos de docentes em enfermagem, com enfoque no embasamento teórico em Foucault sobre saber/poder. Através dos discursos dos docentes, buscou-se investigar as relações subjetivas que constituem estes profissionais e reflexos no processo educacional. Os resultados obtidos apontam que os sujeitos obtidos apontam que os sujeitos possuíram uma formação acadêmica e familiar rígidas, o que contribuiu para suas práticas regidas de poder disciplinar na docência. Ambos os sujeitos concordam que existem uma correlação de poder dentro da sala de aula, e que, as teias de relação de si, refletem na constituição de si e no modo do processo educacional. Sugere-se novas pesquisas na área considerando a escassez de publicações que abrangem a temática sob essa perspectiva, que envolvem as práticas educacionais na enfermagem.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: For Foucault, power is knowledge and there is no possibility of the existence of power if there is no knowledge. Therefore, power produces knowledge, and knowledge is the will for appropriation and domination. This article aims to investigate the webs of relationships that constitute nursing professors as subjects and, consequently, their practices in the nursing education process, regarding knowledge/power. This study is part of a qualitative research project involving interviews, conducted for a Master's degree in Education, approved by the Ethics and Research Committee and financed by CAPES1. The participants were eight professors from a nursing faculty in the interior of the state of Minas Gerais. The methodology used was philosophical, reflective, and critical discourse analysis, focusing on two speeches from nursing professors, with an emphasis on the theoretical framework of Foucault regarding knowledge/power. Through the teachers' speeches, we sought to investigate the subjective relationships that constitute these professionals and the reflexes in the educational process. The results indicate that the subjects reported having a strict academic and family background, which contributed to their practices being governed by disciplinary power in teaching. Both subjects agree that there is a correlation of power within the classroom and that the webs of relations with oneself reflect in the constitution of oneself and in the way the educational process unfolds. Further research in this area is suggested, considering the scarcity of publications on the topic from this perspective, particularly those involving educational practices in nursing.]]></p></abstract>
