A pesquisa encontra apoio teórico-metodológico na teoria das representações sociais. Participaram da pesquisa 88 estudantes de pedagogia de uma universidade pública localizada no Sul do Brasil. Inicialmente, aplicou-se a técnica da associação livre de palavras após o termo indutor &#8220;universidade e vida profissional&#8221;. Em seguida, realizou-se uma análise documental de relatórios de estágio produzidos por uma seleção aleatória de 24 estudantes. A associação livre foi processada pelo software Evoc. Os resultados mostram os elementos que possivelmente compõem o núcleo central e as periferias dessa representação. Uma análise posterior identifica quatro temas: Profissão e emprego; Abertura e ingresso; Vida acadêmica; Formação. A análise de conteúdo dos relatórios revela os saberes sobre essa profissão, provavelmente ancorados em experiências passadas e na cultura, assim como tentativas de ressignificá-los. Dessa análise emergem três temas: Docência; Planejar e dar aula; Avaliar. Ainda como resultado observa-se a coexistência de conhecimentos consensuais, ancorados na tradição, com os científicos adquiridos no estágio e na academia. Os dados podem colaborar com a formação de professores e com políticas educativas que versam sobre o estágio supervisionado.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT The study aims to understand how teachers in initial training think about the experiencein schools, how they attribute meaning to teaching practice and how they build their professional identity. The research finds theoretical and methodological support in the theory of social representations. A total of 88 students in teacher formation course from a public university located in southern Brazil participated in the research. Initially, the technique of free association of words was applied after the inducing term &#8220;university and professional life&#8221;. Then, it was carried out a documental analysis of internship reports produced by a random selection of 24 students. The free association was processed by the Evoc software. The results show the elements that possibly form the central core and the peripheries of this representation. A further analysis identifies four themes: Profession and employment; Opening and entry; Academic life; Formation. The content analysis of the reports reveals the knowledge about this profession, probably anchored in past experiences and culture, as well as attempts to give new meaning to them. Three themes emerge from this analysis: Teaching; Planning and teaching; Assessment. Also, as a result, it is observedthe coexistence of consensual knowledge, anchored in tradition, with scientific knowledge acquired during the internship and in the academy. The data can collaborate with teacher formation and with educational policies related with the supervised internship.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN El estudio tiene como objetivo comprender cómo piensan los docentes en la formación inicial, respecto de la experiencia de prácticas supervisadas en las escuelas, cómo atribuyen significados a la práctica docente y cómo construyen su identidad profesional. La investigación encuentra sustento teórico-metodológico en la teoría de las representaciones sociales. Participaron de la investigación 88 estudiantes de pedagogía de una universidad pública ubicada en el sur de Brasil. Inicialmente se aplicó la técnica de asociación libre depalabras después del término inductor &#8220;universidad y vida profesional&#8221;. A continuación, se realizó un análisis documental de los informes de prácticas elaborados por una selección aleatoria de 24 estudiantes. La asociación libre fue procesada por el software Evoc. Los resultados muestran los elementos que posiblemente conforman el núcleo central y las periferias de esta representación. Un análisis posterior identifica cuatro temas: Profesión y empleo; Apertura y entrada; Vida académica; Capacitación. El análisis de contenido de los informes revela conocimientos sobre esta profesión, probablemente anclados en experiencias y culturas pasadas, así como intentos de darle un nuevo significado. Tres temas emergen de este análisis: Enseñanza; Planificar e impartirclases; Para valorar. Como resultado, hay una coexistencia de conocimientos consensuales, anclados en la tradición, con conocimientos científicos adquiridos durante las prácticas y la academia.
