Este estudo, de cunho documental, teve o objetivo de examinar os avanços e lacunas nos estudos realizados sobre a relação entre socioeducação, projeto de vida e educação escolar. Os resultados indicam uma reduzida produção sobre o jovem em conflito com a lei e sua relação com a escola, bem como a construção de seu projeto de vida evidenciando que ainda são temas que ocupam pouco espaço na agenda acadêmica. A análise dos trabalhos converge para a conclusão de que os direitos preconizados pela legislação vigente não estão sendo efetivados pelos atores do Sistema de Garantia de Direitos, que não têm se mostrado eficazes para a inserção e permanência dos jovens na escola, como uma alternativa para o não envolvimento com o ato infracional e indicam que a construção de um projeto de vida não tem sido foco de estudos e intervenções com esses jovens, quando poderiam constituir-se como uma possibilidade de mudança nas perspectivas de futuro desses jovens.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT This article investigates the academic production that jointly addresses topics related to young people in conflict with the law, school education and life projects, based on a survey and analysis of articles produced in Brazil between 2011 and 2021, published on the Scielo platform. This documental study aimed to examine the advances and gaps in studies carried out on the subject in recent years. The results indicate that young people in conflict with the law and their relationship with the school, as well as the construction of their life project, are still topics that occupy little space in the academic agenda. The analysis of the works converges to the conclusion that the rights advocated by the current legislation are not being carried out by the actors of the Rights Guarantee System, which have not been effective for the insertion and permanence of young people in school, as an alternative to the non-involvement with the infraction and indicate that the construction of a life project constitutes a possibility of change in the future perspectives of these young people.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Este artículo investiga la producción académica que aborda de manera conjunta temas relacionados con los jóvenes en conflicto con la ley, la educación escolar y los proyectos de vida, a partir de un relevamiento y análisis de artículos producidos en Brasil entre 2011 y 2021, publicados en la plataforma Scielo. Este estudio documental tuvo como objetivo examinar los avances y vacíos en los estudios realizados sobre el tema en los últimos años. Los resultados indican que los jóvenes en conflicto con la ley y su relación con la escuela, así como la construcción de su proyecto de vida, siguen siendo temas que ocupan poco espacio en la agenda académica. El análisis de los trabajos converge a concluir que los derechos que propugna la legislación vigente no están siendo realizados por los actores del Sistema de Garantía de Derechos, el cual no ha sido efectivo para la inserción y permanencia de los jóvenes en la escuela, como alternativa. a la no implicación con la infracción e indican que la construcción de un proyecto de vida constituye una posibilidad de cambio en las perspectivas de futuro de estos jóvenes.]]></p></abstract>
