Com advento da sociedade contemporânea, os diversos campos sociais se transformam e, como consequência, é construído um novo contexto econômico, político, cultural e sociotécnico. Correlacionada ao que se espera dos novos perfis profissionais, desta sociedade informatizada, busca-se analisar a formação inicial de professores em Sergipe para o uso das TICs a partir do estudo das matrizes curriculares dos cursos de Pedagogia e Licenciaturas a qual é ofertada pela Universidade Federal de Sergipe e pela Universidade Tiradentes. Foi realizado estudo com a ementa dos cursos, um dos elementos para a análise preliminar de quantas disciplinas são ofertadas nas instituições que se referem às Novas Tecnologias de informação e comunicação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Understanding teachers’ training in the use of ICT is the theme of this article. With the advent of contemporary society, different social fields have become transformed, resulting in a new economic, political, cultural and social-technical context. Correlated with the new professional profiles of this computerized society, it seeks to analyze the initial training of teachers in Sergipe in the use of ICT, based on a study of the curricula of the Pedagogy and Licentiate courses offered by the Universidade Federal de Sergipe and the Universidade Tiradentes. A study was carried out of the course curricula, one of the elements in the preliminary analysis of how many subjects related to new technologies in information and communication are offered at those institutions.]]></p></abstract>
