Os discursos foram obtidos por meio da aplicação de entrevistas semidirigidas. As análises evidenciaram que a prática dos professores que contam com o auxílio de recursos tecnológicos dos laboratórios de informática se apresenta como atividades de memorização, interpretação de dados e fixação de conteúdo. Tais evidências possibilitam afirmar que o computador em si é a motivação que move a dinâmica do processo educativo no laboratório de informática. Esta constatação sugere a necessidade da inclusão de disciplinas nos cursos de formação de professores que melhor preparem estes profissionais para as práticas pedagógicas que incluam o computador como ferramenta pedagógica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[The goal of this research was to investigate the pedagogical use of software during classes in the public schools of Sinop, Mato Grosso, Brazil. The teachers’ discourses were obtained through semi-directed interviews. The analyses demonstrated that the practices of the teachers who used the technological resources of computer laboratories are presented as activities of memorization, data interpretation and assessment of content. This evidence demonstrates that the computer itself motivates and promotes the dynamics of the educational process in the computer laboratory, suggesting a need to include topics, in the curriculum of teacher training courses that will better prepare these professionals for pedagogical practices involving the use the computer as a pedagogical tool.]]></p></abstract>
