Tra&#231;a um panorama da articula&#231;&#227;o de pesquisadores de redes nacionais e internacionais sobre a tem&#225;tica da sustentabilidade na Educa&#231;&#227;o Superior. Apresenta a trajet&#243;ria e o desdobramento das a&#231;&#245;es realizadas na Universidade do Vale do Itaja&#237; no diagn&#243;stico de ind&#237;cios de ambientaliza&#231;&#227;o em seus cursos de gradua&#231;&#227;o e de estrat&#233;gias e pr&#225;ticas sustent&#225;veis e de responsabilidade socioambiental na institui&#231;&#227;o. Destaca a participa&#231;&#227;o na organiza&#231;&#227;o em semin&#225;rios nacionais e f&#243;runs internacionais sobre o tema, com redes nacionais e internacionais que participam da ARIUSA, como tamb&#233;m na coordena&#231;&#227;o e articula&#231;&#227;o das 13 Institui&#231;&#245;es de Educa&#231;&#227;o Superior do Brasil que participaram do projeto. O enfoque metodol&#243;gico utilizado foi de cunho quanti-qualitativo, com a aplica&#231;&#227;o de question&#225;rio com 114 indicadores distribu&#237;dos em 11 dimens&#245;es sobre a possibilidade de aplica&#231;&#227;o da sustentabilidade e da responsabilidade social nas universidades. Como resultados, a an&#225;lise apontou fragilidades que dizem respeito aos indicadores de sustentabilidade na dimens&#227;o da doc&#234;ncia, principalmente quanto &#224; avalia&#231;&#227;o da aprendizagem e uma metodologia para verificar a incorpora&#231;&#227;o da sustentabilidade nas disciplinas. A universidade destacou-se principalmente nas dimens&#245;es da sensibiliza&#231;&#227;o e da participa&#231;&#227;o - Extens&#227;o/ Ensino e da Responsabilidade Socioambiental. Ainda, no &#226;mbito institucional, destacam-se a formula&#231;&#227;o e os subs&#237;dios para o Programa UNIVALI Sustent&#225;vel e a revis&#227;o do Plano de Desenvolvimento Institucional (PDI). Conclui-se identificando alguns desafios que exigem um compromisso das IES no Brasil na transi&#231;&#227;o e na incorpora&#231;&#227;o da cultura da sustentabilidade como pol&#237;tica efetiva.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This article presents the results of the diagnostic evaluation of sustainability of the Network of Sustainability Indicators in Universities (RISU) at the University of Vale do Itaja&#237;, Santa Catarina. It gives a panorama of the joint actions of researchers of national and international networks around the theme of sustainability in Higher Education. It presents the history and the unfolding of actions carried out at the University, in the diagnosis of environmental indicators of their graduate courses, sustainable strategies and practices, and actions of environmental responsibility at the institution. It highlights the participation, in the organization, in national seminars and international forums on the theme, with national and international networks involved in the ARIUSA, and the coordination and articulation of the 13 institutions of Higher Education in Brazil that participate in the project. The methodological focus used was both quantitative and qualitative, with the application of a questionnaire with 114 indicators distributed across 11 dimensions covering the possibility of applying sustainability and social responsibility in the universities. By way of results, the analysis indicated fragilities related to the sustainability indicators in the teaching dimension, particularly concerning the evaluation of the sustainability indicators in the learning process, and the evaluation of learning, and a methodology to determine the incorporation of sustainability into the courses. The university stood out especially in the dimensions of raising awareness and participation - Extension/Teaching and of Social-environmental Responsibility. Also, in the institutional scope - the formulation and funding for the Sustainable Univali Program, and the review of the Institutional Development Plan (IDP), were pointed out. It concludes by identifying some challenges that demand a commitment of HEIs in Brazil in the transition and incorporation of the culture of sustainability as an effective policy.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Este art&#237;culo presenta los resultados del diagn&#243;stico de evaluaci&#243;n de las pol&#237;ticas de sostenibilidad de la Red de Indicadores de Universidades Sostenibles (RISU) en la Universidad del Vale do Itaja&#237;, Santa Catarina. Describe el panorama de la articulaci&#243;n de investigadores de redes nacionales e internacionales sobre la tem&#225;tica de la sostenibilidad en la Educaci&#243;n Superior. Presenta la trayectoria y el desdoblamiento de las acciones realizadas en la Universidad del Vale do Itaja&#237; en el diagn&#243;stico de indicios de ambientalizaci&#243;n en sus cursos de grado y de estrategias y pr&#225;cticas sostenibles y de responsabilidad socioambiental en la instituci&#243;n. Destaca la participaci&#243;n en la organizaci&#243;n de Seminarios nacionales y Foros internacionales sobre el tema, con redes nacionales e internacionales que participan de la ARIUSA, as&#237; como en la coordinaci&#243;n y articulaci&#243;n de las 13 Instituciones de Educaci&#243;n Superior de Brasil que participaron en el Proyecto. El enfoque metodol&#243;gico utilizado fue de cu&#241;o cuanti-cualitativo, con la aplicaci&#243;n de un cuestionario con 114 indicadores distribuidos en 11 dimensiones sobre la posibilidad de aplicaci&#243;n de la sostenibilidad y responsabilidad social en las universidades. Como resultado, el an&#225;lisis apunt&#243; fragilidades relativas a los indicadores de sostenibilidad en la dimensi&#243;n de la docencia, principalmente en cuanto a la evaluaci&#243;n del aprendizaje, y una metodolog&#237;a para verificar la incorporaci&#243;n de la sostenibilidad en las asignaturas. La universidad se destac&#243; principalmente en las dimensiones de la sensibilizaci&#243;n y participaci&#243;n - Extensi&#243;n / Ense&#241;anza y de la Responsabilidad Socioambiental. Asimismo, en el &#225;mbito institucional se destaca la formulaci&#243;n y bases para el Programa Univali Sostenible y revisi&#243;n del Plan de Desarrollo Institucional (PDI).
