O texto apresenta o relato da experiência pedagógica da autora em um curso de extensão (2018), que propôs como etapa de projeto de pesquisa focar na relação entre a ampliação da consciência psicofísica do ator e a criação de um personagem. Foram investigadas práticas de meditação ativa, de máscara neutra, da Educação Somática (pelos sistemas corporais do Body-Mind Centering&#8482;) e de elementos da técnica de atuação de Michael Chekhov. A estreita relação entre imaginação e percepção foi enfocada tanto como base para a ampliação da consciência corporal e psíquica quanto como fonte de criação psicofísica.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This paper discusses the tools needed for the creative work of the actor, starting with the deepening of self-knowledge. It presents the report of the author&#8217;s pedagogical experience of an extension course, taken in 2018, which formed part of a research project focusing on the relationship between the expansion of the actor&#8217;s psycho-physical awareness and the creation of a character. Practices investigated included active meditation, neutral mask, Somatic Education (through Body-Mind Centering&#8482; body systems) and elements of Michael Chekhov&#8217;s acting technique. The close relationship between imagination and perception was addressed, both as a basis for broadening body and psychic awareness and as a source of psycho-physical creation.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Este artículo examina herramientas para el trabajo creativo del actor a partir de la profundización del autoconocimiento. El texto presenta el informe de la experiencia pedagógica de la autora en un curso de extensión (2018) que se propuso como etapa de un proyecto de investigación centrado en la relación entre la expansión de la conciencia psicofísica del actor y la creación de un personaje. Se investigaron la meditación activa, la máscara neutral, las prácticas de educación somática (a través de los sistemas corporales Body- Mind Centering &#8482;) y los elementos de la técnica de actuación de Michael Chekhov. La estrecha relación entre la imaginación y la percepción se ha centrado tanto como una base para ampliar la conciencia psíquica y corporal como como una fuente de creación psicofísica.]]></p></abstract>
