Desse modo, foram encontrados 35 artigos, elencando a escassez desses trabalhos na literatura. A consequência desse fato pode estar interligada ao processo de formação inicial de professores, por não apresentar ações voltadas às práticas pedagógicas de ensino de Matemática, bem como o estudo de conteúdos de História da Matemática. A partir deste estudo, busca-se elencar a relevância de produções acadêmicas voltadas à abordagem do ensino de Matemática, tendo em vista a importância do estudo de sequências numéricas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This work investigates the study of numerical sequences for teaching Mathematics, based on journal publications in the last five years, written in Portuguese. A total of thirty-five articles were retrieved, demonstrating the scarcity of academic works on this theme. This lack may be due to the initial teacher training, which rarely focuses on the pedagogical practices of teaching Mathematics or the History of Mathematics. Based on this study, we highlight the importance of the academic study of numerical sequences for teaching Mathematics.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: El presente trabajo aborda una investigación sobre el estudio de las sucesiones numéricas para la enseñanza de las Matemáticas, a partir de las publicaciones ocurridas en poco más de 5 años en periódicos con texto en portugués. Así, se encontraron 35 artículos, enumerando la escasez de estos trabajos en la literatura. La consecuencia de este hecho puede estar ligada al proceso de formación inicial del profesorado, ya que no presenta acciones dirigidas a prácticas pedagógicas de enseñanza de las Matemáticas, así como al estudio de contenidos de Historia de las Matemáticas. A partir de este estudio, buscamos enumerar la relevancia de las producciones académicas dirigidas al abordaje de la enseñanza de las Matemáticas, frente a la importancia del estudio de las sucesiones numéricas.]]></p></abstract>
