Essas cren&#231;as referem-se ao julgamento do gestor sobre as pr&#243;prias capacidades para estruturar cursos de a&#231;&#227;o espec&#237;ficos a fim de produzir resultados desejados na escola por ele dirigida, englobando tarefas pedag&#243;gicas, administrativas e de relacionamento interpessoal. Com o objetivo de ampliar a compreens&#227;o sobre essa cren&#231;a, esta pesquisa dedicou-se a investigar as rela&#231;&#245;es preditivas entre as cren&#231;as de autoefic&#225;cia de gestores escolares de escolas p&#250;blicas da rede estadual de S&#227;o Paulo, considerando-se os aspectos pessoais, de atividade docente e de contexto relacionados &#224; atividade dos gestores escolares. Os 228 participantes responderam ao question&#225;rio do gestor e ao question&#225;rio de caracteriza&#231;&#227;o, por meio de coleta de dados on-line. A an&#225;lise de regress&#227;o linear multivariada constatou rela&#231;&#227;o significativa da satisfa&#231;&#227;o com o trabalho e da concord&#226;ncia com o IDESP com a autoefic&#225;cia dos gestores escolares. A discuss&#227;o dos resultados buscou contextualiz&#225;-los de acordo com as condi&#231;&#245;es de carreira e as pol&#237;ticas educacionais diretamente relacionadas aos gestores escolares. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract  Self-efficacy beliefs have been identified as one of the mediator aspects of actions taken by school administrators. These beliefs refer to the judgment of the manager on their own abilities to design specific courses of action in order to produce desired results at the school, encompassing educational, administrative and interpersonal tasks. In order to broaden the understanding of this beliefsthis research was dedicated to investigate the relationships between efficacy beliefs of school administrators from S&#227;o Paulo state public schools of, considering the personal aspects of teaching activity and context related to the activity of school managers. The 228 participants answered to the manager&#180;s questionnaire and the characterization questionnaire through online data collection. Multivariate linear regression analysis found significant relationship among job satisfaction and agreement with the IDESP and the self-efficacy of school managers. The results were discussed seeking to contextualize them according to the career conditions and educational policies directly related to school administrators. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen  Las creencias de auto eficacia se han identificado como uno de los aspectos de las acciones mediadores tomadas por los gestores escolares. Estas creencias se refieren al juicio del gestor sobre las propias capacidades para dise&#241;ar acciones espec&#237;ficos con el fin de producir los resultados deseados en la escuela que dirige, abarcando las tareas educativas, administrativas e interpersonales. Con el objetivo de ampliar la comprensi&#243;n de esta creencia, este trabajo se dedic&#243; a investigar las relaciones entre las creencias acerca de la eficacia de los gestores escolares de las escuelas p&#250;blicas del estado de S&#227;o Paulo, teniendo en cuenta los aspectos personales de la actividad docente y del contexto relacionado con la actividad de los administradores escolares. Los 228 participantes respondieron al cuestionario del gestor y el cuestionario de caracterizaci&#243;n a trav&#233;s de la recopilaci&#243;n de datos en l&#237;nea. El an&#225;lisis de regresi&#243;n lineal m&#250;ltiple encontr&#243; una relaci&#243;n significativa entre la satisfacci&#243;n laboral en acuerdo con el IDESP con la auto eficacia de los directores de la escuela. La discusi&#243;n de los resultados fueron contextualizados de acuerdo con las condiciones de la carrera y las pol&#237;ticas educativas relacionadas a los gestores de la escuela. ]]></p></abstract>
