Este trabalho buscou identificar alguns programas de intervenção de educação socioemocional realizados em escolas. Para isso, efetuou-se uma revisão de literatura, utilizando os descritores "educação socioemocional", "aprendizagem socioemocional", "social emotional learning", "intervenção" e "intervention" nos portais de pesquisa BVS e PsychNet, incluindo artigos escritos em espanhol, inglês ou português, empíricos, com uma intervenção realizada e avaliada no contexto escolar. Os resultados obtidos demonstram uma prevalência de programas de educação socioemocional nos Estados Unidos, um maior número de intervenções ministradas por professores, que incluíram os conteúdos no currículo escolar, e efeitos de melhoras em comportamento pró-social, sintomas emocionais, problemas de conduta, autoestima, regulação emocional, sintomas de desatenção e hiperatividade, autocontrole e empatia. Esses programas de intervenção socioemocional apresentaram resultados significativos para desenvolver as competências citadas acima; entretanto, alcançaram poucas das competências almejadas, bem como o efeito do resultado foi pequeno em muitos estudos. A educação socioemocional se faz importante como ferramenta para uma melhor adaptação da criança ao seu contexto, desenvolvendo a longo prazo uma melhor autoestima e empatia. Os professores também se beneficiam, melhorando suas práticas pedagógicas e contribuindo para o fomento do cuidado de saúde mental nas escolas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Social-emotional education is the process of acquiring and practicing skills for emotional identification and management, as well as relationship skills and caring attitudes towards others. The present work aimed to identify some intervention programs in social-emotional education at schools. Thereunto, a literature review was made using the descriptors "educação socioemocional", "aprendizagem emocional", "social emotional learning", "intervenção" and "intervention" in the research bases of BVS and PsychNet, including empirical articles written in portuguese, english or Spanish, with an intervention done and evaluated in the school context. The results show a concentration of social-emotional education programs in USA, more interventions guided by teachers that included the knowledge and practices in the school curriculum, and intervention results that show improvements in pro-social behavior, emotional symptoms, behavioral problems, self-esteem, emotion regulation, inattention and hyperactive symptoms, self-regulation and empathy. These social-emotional intervention programs show meaningful results to develop the competences spoken above, however, they reached only a few of the aimed competences and had a small effect of the results in many studies. The social-emotional education is important as a tool for better adaptation of children to their environment, developing in long term a better self-esteem and empathy. The teachers also benefit from the interventions, enhancing their teaching practices and contributing to the promotion of mental health care in schools.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMÉN La educación socioemocional es el proceso de adquirir y practicar habilidades de reconocimiento y regulación emocional, de relación interpersonal y de actitudes de cuidado al otro. Este trabajo buscó identificar programas de intervención de educación socioemocional realizada en escuelas. Para ello se efectuó una revisión de literatura, utilizando los descriptores "educação socioemocional", "aprendizagem socioemocional", "social emocional learning", "intervenção" y "intervention" en los portales de investigación BVS y PsychNet, incluyendo publicaciones escritas en español, inglés o portugués, empíricos, con intervención realizada y evaluada en el contexto escolar. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran una prevalencia de programas de educación socioemocional en los Estados Unidos, una mayor cantidad de intervenciones realizadas por profesores, que incluyeron los contenidos en el currículo escolar, y efectos de mejoría en comportamiento pro-social, síntomas emocionales, problemas de conducta, autoestima, regulación emocional, síntomas de desatención e hiperactividad, autocontrol y empatía. Estos programas de intervención socioemocional presentaron resultados significativos para desarrollar las competencias dictadas arriba, sin embargo, alcanzaron pocas de las competencias anheladas, además de en muchos estudios el efecto del resultado fue pequeño. La educación socioemocional se hace importante como herramienta para una mejor adaptación del niño a su contexto, desarrollando a largo plazo una mejor autoestima y empatía. Los profesores también se benefician, mejorando sus prácticas pedagógicas y contribuyendo al fomento del cuidado de la salud mental en las escuelas.]]></p></abstract>
