Uma medida eficaz para evitar isso consiste no desenvolvimento de Programas de Educação Postural na escola. Este relato de experiência descreve as atividades teóricas e práticas realizadas com 75 alunos (9-12 anos) de ambos os sexos, cursando entre 4° e 5° série, bem como, a participação das professoras de classe (n= 28; 24-28 anos). As atividades foram desenvolvidas uma vez por semana (50 minutos), durante 16 semanas. Os conteúdos trabalhados foram: i) anatomia da coluna vertebral e, ii) modo correto de sentar, deitar, agachar e pegar objetos no alto e no solo. As atividades foram realizadas por meio de jogos, brincadeiras e canções adaptadas. Com base nos relatos dos escolares ao final de cada encontro, verificou-se que o Programa de Educação Postural foi efetivo, pois transformou os hábitos posturais dos escolares em sala de aula e também em suas casas, além de que aumentou os níveis de conhecimento dos escolares sobre as implicações de hábitos posturais incorretos para saúde. Por conseguinte, as entrevistas realizadas com os professores de classe mostraram que as atividades desenvolvidas qualificaram seus conhecimentos sobre o tema postura corporal de escolares, contribuindo significativamente para o projeto político-pedagógico da escola.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT Postural problems can cause pain and functional limitations in children and adolescents. An effective measure to avoid this is the development of Postural Education Programs at school. This experience report describes the theoretical and practical activities carried out with 75 students (9-12 years old) of both sexes, attending between 4th and 5th grades, as well as the participation of class teachers (n = 28; 24- 28 years). The activities were developed once a week (50 minutes), for 16 weeks. The contents worked on were: i) anatomy of the spine and, ii) correct way of sitting, lying down, crouching and picking up objects from above and on the ground. The activities were carried out through games, plays and adapted songs. Based on the students' reports at the end of each meeting, it was found that the Postural Education Program was effective, as it transformed the postural habits of students in the classroom and also in their homes, in addition to increasing the knowledge levels of the students about the implications of incorrect postural habits for health. Consequently, the interviews carried out with the class teachers showed that the activities developed qualified their knowledge on the subject body posture of schoolchildren, contributing significantly to the political-pedagogical project of the school, contributing significantly to the school's political-pedagogical project.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[RESUMEN Los problemas posturales pueden causar dolor y limitaciones funcionales en niños y adolescentes. Una medida efectiva para evitar esto es el desarrollo de Programas de Educación Postural en la escuela. Este informe de experiencia describe las actividades teóricas y prácticas llevadas a cabo con 75 estudiantes (9-12 años) de ambos sexos, que asistieron entre 4to y 5to grado, así como la participación de maestros de clase (n = 28; 24- 28 años). Las actividades se desarrollaron una vez por semana (50 minutos), durante 16 semanas. Los contenidos trabajados fueron: i) anatomía de la columna vertebral y, ii) forma correcta de sentarse, acostarse, agacharse y levantar objetos desde arriba y en el suelo. Las actividades se llevaron a cabo a través de juegos, juegos y canciones adaptadas. Con base en los informes de los estudiantes al final de cada reunión, se descubrió que el Programa de Educación Postural era efectivo, ya que transformaba los hábitos posturales de los estudiantes en el aula y también en sus hogares, además de aumentar los niveles de conocimiento de los estudiantes sobre las implicaciones de los hábitos posturales incorrectos para la salud. En consecuencia, las entrevistas realizadas con los profesores de la clase mostraron que las actividades desarrolladas calificaron sus conocimientos sobre la postura del cuerpo del sujeto de los escolares, contribuyendo significativamente al proyecto político-pedagógico de la escuela.]]></p></abstract>
