Procura-se argumentar que este binômio pode sintetizar propostas antagônicas de educação que disputam a direção das políticas governamentais em curso. O reconhecimento dos antagonismos pode ser um instrumento para a compreensão das ações governamentais, pela percepção de que, na arena institucional, os partidos relacionam-se com propostas antagônicas ao seu campo e constroem políticas que incorporam demandas de direita e de esquerda. Para isto, apresenta uma revisão da bibliografia sobre os partidos políticos no Brasil e uma revisão acerca das análises de propostas de política educacional pós-ditadura militar. A partir dessa revisão construiu-se uma matriz que pretende sintetizar as disputas educacionais nos âmbitos das políticas de acesso, gestão e financiamento da educação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[This article discusses the pertinence of characterizing the dispute in education policies from the binomial right-wing and left-wing. One arguments that this binomial can synthesize opposite propositions in education, which disputes the direction of actual public government policies. The recognition of oppositions can be an instrument for understanding government actions, by recognizing that political parties, in the institutional arena, are related to opposite proposals and they build polices that includes the demand from the right-wing and the left-wing. Therefore, it presents a review of the bibliography of political parties in Brazil and a review of the analyses of education policy proposals after military dictatorship. From this review, one built a matrix that synthesizes the education policies disputes in the scope of education access, management and financing.]]></p></abstract>
