Este artigo objetivou realizar a tradução e adaptação transcultural do Learning Object Review Instrument (Lori), para o uso no Brasil. Realizou-se estudo metodológico, transversal, de adaptação transcultural. A primeira etapa consistiu em tradução, retrotradução e submissão a Comitê de Especialistas bilíngue, sendo analisada a equivalência semântica, idiomática, cultural e conceitual. A segunda etapa abarcou um pré-teste com professores que utilizam objetos de aprendizagem. O perfil dos participantes foi resumido em frequência absoluta e relativa e medidas de tendência central e dispersão. A análise da clareza e da adequação cultural foi feita mediante frequência absoluta e relativa e teste U de Mann-Whitney para diferenças entre grupos. Participaram da investigação 34 professores, com média de idade de 41,9 (DP = 10,2) anos; 14 (41,2%) do sexo masculino e 20 (58,8%) do sexo feminino; com mediana de tempo de atuação de 9,0 (IIQ = 10,0) anos; 47,1% possuíam doutorado; 47,1% atuavam em Ciências da Saúde; e 61,7% trabalhavam na rede privada de ensino. Os elementos do Lori foram, em sua maioria, considerados claros. Dois itens não alcançaram 80% de clareza: &#8220;qualidade de conteúdo&#8221; e &#8220;feedback e adaptação&#8221;. Concluiu-se que o instrumento apresentou índice de validade de conteúdo para avaliar objetos de aprendizagem.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: Learning objects are materials intended to facilitate learning, therefore evaluating their effectiveness is crucial to ensure their quality. The main purpose of this study is to translate and cross-culturally adapt the Learning Object Review Instrument (LORI) for its use in Brazil. A methodological, cross-sectional study of cross-cultural adaptation was carried out. The first stage consisted of a translation, back translation and its submission to a bilingual committee of specialists, in which semantic, idiomatic, cultural and conceptual equivalence were analyzed. The second stage comprised of a pre-test with teachers who employ learning objects. Participant profiles were summarized in absolute and relative attendance and measures of central tendency and dispersion. Clarity and cultural adequacy were analyzed through absolute and relative attendance, while Mann-Whitney U tests were used in discrepancies between groups. Of the 34 participating teachers, 14 (41.2%) were male and 18 (58.8%) were female, averaging 41.9 years old (SD = 10.2). For those with an average working time of 9.0 years (IIQ = 10.0), 47.1% had a doctoral degree, 47.1% were employed in Health Sciences, and 61.7% worked in the private education sector. Most of the LORI aspects were considered clear. Only two items did not reach 80% clarity, namely &#8220;content quality&#8221; and &#8220;feedback and adaptation&#8221;. In conclusion, the instrument displayed a content validity index to assess learning objects.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Los objetos de aprendizaje son materiales destinados a facilitar el aprendizaje, por lo tanto, evaluar su eficacia es fundamental para asegurar su calidad. El objetivo de este artículo fue traducir y adaptar transculturalmente el Learning Object Review Instrument (Lori) para su uso en Brasil. Se llevó a cabo un estudio metodológico, transversal, de adaptación transcultural. La primera etapa consistió en la traducción, retrotraducción y presentación a un Comité de Expertos bilingüe, analizándose la equivalencia semántica, idiomática, cultural y conceptual. La segunda etapa consistió en un pre-test con profesores que utilizan objetos de aprendizaje. El perfil de los participantes se resumió en frecuencias absoluta y relativa y medidas de tendencia central y dispersión. La claridad y la adecuación cultural fueron hechas mediante frecuencias absoluta y relativa y prueba U de Mann-Whitney para las diferencias entre grupos. Treinta y cuatro profesores participaran en la investigación, con una edad media de 41,9 (DE = 10,2) años, 14 (41,2 %) hombres y 18 (58,8 %) mujeres; con una mediana de tiempo de trabajo de 9,0 (IIQ = 10,0) años; el 47,1 % tenían un doctorado; el 47,1 % trabajaban en Ciencias de la Salud y el 61,7% en las escuelas privadas. La mayoría de los elementos de Lori se consideraron esclarecidos. Dos ítems no alcanzaron el 80 % de claridad, a saber: &#8220;calidad del contenido&#8221; y &#8220;feedback y adaptación&#8221;. Se concluyó que el instrumento presentaba un índice de validez de contenido para evaluar objetos de aprendizaje.]]></p></abstract>
