Nessa época, Freire era um professor que, como muitos de nós, tentava sobreviver ministrando aulas, inscrevendo-se em concursos, proferindo conferências, publicando artigos etc. Ainda não tinha fama e notoriedade, não era um autor instituído (Foucault, 2009c) com ideias consolidadas na Educação. Mesmo assim, conseguiu o feito de ter seu artigo veiculado num periódico em que publicavam os principais expoentes da Educação brasileira: Carneiro Leão, Lourenço Filho, Anísio Teixeira, Fernando de Azevedo, entre outros. Dessa forma, nosso objetivo neste texto é saber: o que disse o professor Paulo Freire sobre a escola primária, para que suas ideias circulassem entre os mais destacados pensadores da Educação, que escreviam na RBEP? Para isso, analisamos o discurso enquanto ação, entendendo não com o que pode haver por trás dele nem por meio do que está dito no seu conteúdo, mas como séries regulares e distintas de acontecimentos (Foucault, 2009a; Albuquerque Júnior, 2009). Concluímos que Paulo Freire, em 1961, ainda não tinha suas ideias consolidadas na Educação, mas, no seu percurso discursivo, havia autores já instituídos nos quais ele assentou suas ideias, fato que, a nosso ver, facilitou essa publicação.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: &#8221;Primary School for Brazil&#8221; was the single study published by Paulo Freire in the Revista Brasileira de Estudos Pedagógicos (RBEP) in 1961, and stemmed from a conference given at the Symposium Educação para o Brasil, promoted by the Centro Regional de Pesquisas Educacionais de Pernambuco (CRPE). During this period, Paulo Freire was still a teacher that, like many of us, tried to survive through teaching, applying for Public Service exams, giving lectures, publishing studies etc. He was not yet famous and notorious, nor an established author (Foucault, 2009c) with cemented ideas for education. Notwithstanding, he managed to publish his study in a journal where the main proponents of Brazilian education were issued, such as: Carneiro Leão, Lourenço Filho, Anísio Teixeira, Fernando de Azevedo etc. Therefore, our focus in this paper is to comprehend: what did the teacher Paulo Freire say about primary school to the point of his ideas begin to circulate among the most prominent intellectuals of education writing for RBEP? In this sense, we analyzed speech as an action, perceiving it not as what may be behind it, nor through what is being said in its content, but &#8220;as regular and distinct series of events&#8221; (Foucault, 2009a; Albuquerque Júnior, 2009). We then conclude that, in 1961, Paulo Freire&#8217;s ideas had not yet been cemented in education, however, in his discursive path, there were already established authors on whom he based his views, a fact that, in our opinion, facilitated this publication.]]></p></abstract>

En esa época, Paulo Freire era un profesor que, como muchos de nosotros, intentaba sobrevivir impartiendo clases, inscribiéndose a concursos, profiriendo conferencias, publicando artículos, etc. Aún no tenía fama ni notoriedad, no era un autor consagrado (Foucault, 2009c) con ideas consolidadas en educación. Aun así, logró que su artículo fuera publicado en un periódico que se publicaban los principales exponentes de la educación brasileña: Carneiro Leão, Lourenço Filho, Anísio Teixeira, Fernando de Azevedo, etc. Por tanto, nuestro objetivo en este texto es conocer: ¿Qué dijo el profesor Paulo Freire sobre la escuela primaria, para que sus ideas circulasen entre los más destacados pensadores de la educación, que escribieron en la RBEP? Para ello, analizamos el discurso como una acción, entendiéndolo no con lo que puede haber detrás ni a través de lo que se dice en su contenido, sino como una serie regular y distinta de acontecimientos (Foucault, 2009a; Albuquerque Júnior, 2009). Concluimos que Paulo Freire, en 1961, aún no tenía sus ideas consolidadas en educación, pero, en su recorrido discursivo, ya existían autores consagrados en quienes basó sus ideas, hecho que, a nuestro juicio, facilitó esta publicación.]]></p></abstract>
