<self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_arttext&amp;pid=S2176-66812025000100228&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&amp;pid=S2176-66812025000100228&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><self-uri xlink:href="http://educa.fcc.org.br/scielo.php?script=sci_pdf&amp;pid=S2176-66812025000100228&amp;lng=en&amp;nrm=iso"></self-uri><abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="pt"><p><![CDATA[Resumo: Este artigo, oriundo de uma tese de doutorado, investigou as práticas pedagógicas e os desafios enfrentados na educação de imigrantes em Blumenau-SC, sob a perspectiva da colonialidade e decolonialidade, dialogando com autores como Aníbal Quijano, Walter Mignolo, Catherine Walsh, entre outros, para propor caminhos que rompam com a lógica excludente e promovam uma prática pedagógica plural. A análise crítica aborda os discursos eurocêntricos presentes na educação e o potencial transformador da educação intercultural, buscando compreender como a escola pode se tornar um espaço de afirmação dos direitos humanos e de promoção da diversidade cultural. A pesquisa adota uma abordagem qualitativa descritiva, com entrevistas semiestruturadas a profissionais da educação e análise de documentos oficiais, como marcos normativos e políticas educacionais do município. O estudo destaca a relevância da educação em direitos humanos e da interculturalidade crítica como caminhos para promover a inclusão e a justiça social no ambiente escolar. Conclui que, apesar dos esforços para acolher esses estudantes, as práticas educacionais em Blumenau ainda enfrentam desafios significativos, fortemente marcados pelo racismo estrutural, o que exige uma revisão crítica das práticas pedagógicas, de modo a valorizar e reconhecer as diversas culturas presentes nos espaços educacionais, promovendo, de forma efetiva, a interculturalidade e a educação em direitos humanos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This study, deriving from a doctoral dissertation, aimed to investigate the pedagogical practices and challenges faced in the education of immigrants in Blumenau-SC, from the perspective of coloniality and decoloniality, while engaging with authors like Aníbal Quijano, Walter Mignolo, and Catherine Walsh, among others, to propose ways to break with the excluding logic and promote a pluralistic pedagogical practice. Through a critical analysis of eurocentric discourses present in education and the transformative potential of intercultural education, the study seeks to understand how schools can become spaces for the affirmation of human rights and the promotion of cultural diversity. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach, based on semi-structured interviews conducted with education professionals, as well as the analysis of official documents, such as regulatory frameworks and educational policies in the municipality. It also underscores the importance of education in human rights and critical interculturality as a means to promote inclusion and social justice in the school environment. The conclusion is that, despite efforts to accommodate these students, educational practices in Blumenau still face significant challenges, strongly marked by structural racism, demanding a critical review of pedagogical practices in order to value and recognize the diverse cultures present in educational spaces, effectively promoting interculturality and education in human rights.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Este artículo, procedente de una tesis doctoral, exploró las prácticas pedagógicas y los retos en la educación de migrantes en Blumenau, Santa Catarina, SC, desde la perspectiva de la colonialidad y descolonialidad. Se dialogó con autores como el sociólogo peruano Aníbal Quijano, el profesor argentino Walter Mignolo y la profesora y directora estadunidense de Estudios Culturales Latinoamericanos en Ecuador Catherine E. Walsh, entre otros, para proponer vías de que rompan con la lógica excluyente y fomentar una práctica pedagógica plural. A través de un análisis crítico de los discursos eurocéntricos en la educación y el potencial transformador de la educación intercultural, el estudio busca comprender cómo la escuela puede convertirse en un espacio de afirmación de los derechos humanos y de promoción de la diversidad cultural. La investigación adopta un enfoque cualitativo descriptivo, basado en entrevistas semiestructuradas a profesionales de la educación y análisis de documentos oficiales, como marcos normativos y políticas educativas vigentes en el municipio de Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Región Sur de Brasil. Además, el presente estudio subraya la importancia de la educación en derechos humanos y la interculturalidad crítica como medios para promover la inclusión y la justicia social en el ambiente escolar. Se concluye que, a pesar de los esfuerzos por alojar a estos estudiantes, las prácticas educativas en Blumenau, Brasil, aún enfrentan desafíos significativos, marcados por un racismo estructural. Esta realidad exige una revisión crítica de las prácticas pedagógicas, a fin de valorar y reconocer las diversas culturas presentes en los espacios educativos, promoviendo de manera efectiva la interculturalidad y la educación en derechos humanos.]]></p></abstract>
