Um estudo de caso foi utilizado para coletar dados junto &#224;s escolas municipais de Ensino Fundamental I da regi&#227;o do Grande ABC, nas quais os alunos apresentaram alto desempenho na compet&#234;ncia de leitura e interpreta&#231;&#227;o de textos na Prova Brasil (2011). Os resultados mostraram que as escolas organizavam e utilizavam diferentes a&#231;&#245;es educativas e projetos pedag&#243;gicos, organizados pelos professores e pela gest&#227;o escolar. Mais de 30 projetos foram identificados e agrupados. Seus objetivos se associavam ao desenvolvimento da leitura e &#224; amplia&#231;&#227;o do tempo de aprendizagem, entre outros. Compreender a organiza&#231;&#227;o das a&#231;&#245;es educativas e dos projetos pedag&#243;gicos e o sentido destes para as escolas pode contribuir trazendo indica&#231;&#245;es aos diretores no intuito de auxili&#225;-los a melhorar o desempenho dos alunos em leitura.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract:  In this study it was aimed to investigate how the connection between the library and student learning opportunities is established. A case study was used to collect data from the municipal elementary schools (Ensino Fundamental I) in the Great ABC region, in which the students presented high performance in reading skills and text comprehension in Brazilian Exam (Prova Brazil) (2011). Results showed that schools organized and used different educational and pedagogical projects, organized by teachers and school management. More than 30 projects have been identified and grouped. Their objectives were associated with the development of reading and the expansion of learning time. Understanding the organization of educational and pedagogical projects and their meaning to schools can contribute bringing directions to principals in order to assist them to improve students' reading performance.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: Este estudio tiene como objetivo investigar c&#243;mo es la interfaz entre la biblioteca y las oportunidades de aprendizaje del estudiante. Un estudio de caso se utiliz&#243; para recopilar datos de las Escuelas Primarias Municipales I de la regi&#243;n del Gran ABC, que los estudiantes presentan un alto rendimiento en las habilidades de lectura y la interpretaci&#243;n de los textos en la Prueba de Brasil (2011). Los resultados mostraron que la escuela organiza y utiliza diferentes proyectos educativos y pedag&#243;gicos, organizados por los maestros y la gesti&#243;n escolar. Han sido identificados y agrupados m&#225;s de 30 proyectos. Sus objetivos se asociaron con el desarrollo de la lectura y la expansi&#243;n de tiempo de aprendizaje, entre otros. Comprender el significado de la organizaci&#243;n de las actividades y proyectos educativos ayuda a los directores en la organizaci&#243;n escolar para mejorar el rendimiento de la lectura en los estudiantes.]]></p></abstract>
