O estudo desenvolveu-se a partir da abordagem qualitativo-narrativa, de cunho sociocultural; foi realizado com professores e estudantes das licenciaturas de uma universidade p&#250;blica e de uma institui&#231;&#227;o de ensino superior comunit&#225;ria do interior do Rio Grande do Sul. O objetivo foi compreender as concep&#231;&#245;es sobre aprendizagem docente de professores em forma&#231;&#227;o inicial e de formadores, e como essas concep &#231;&#245;es implicam os processos formativos da doc&#234;ncia. Consideramos que os trajetos formativos assumidos representam o modo com o qual o perfil profissional vai se desenhando e como as viv&#234;ncias formativas emergem diante do desafio de (re)contex tualizar a profiss&#227;o. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: In this article we discuss about teacher training in higher education from the understanding of the training processes which provide its dynamics. The study was developed from a narrative qualitative approach, as a sociocultural initiative performed by teachers and students of graduation courses from a public university and a community higher education institution in the country area of Rio Grande do Sul. Our objective was to understand the conceptions about teacher learning of tea chers in their initial education and also teacher trainers, and how these conceptions imply in training processes of teachers. We understood that the formative paths can represent the way a professional profile is built and how formative experiences emer ge in the light of the challenge of recontextualise the profession. ]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: En este art&#237;culo discutimos acerca de la formaci&#243;n de profesores en la educaci&#243;n superior a partir de los procesos formativos que propician su din&#225;mica. El estudio lo desarrollamos mediante el abordaje cualitativo narrativo, de car&#225;cter sociocultural, con profesores y estudiantes de los cursos de profesorado, de una uni versidad p&#250;blica y de una instituci&#243;n de ense&#241;anza superior comunitaria del inte rior de Rio Grande do Sul. El objetivo es comprender cu&#225;les las concepciones sobre aprendizaje docente de profesores en formaci&#243;n inicial y de formadores y c&#243;mo ellas implican los procesos formativos del docente. Consideramos que los trayectos forma tivos asumidos representan el modo como se va dise&#241;ando el perfil profesional y c&#243;mo las vivencias formativas emergen ante el desaf&#237;o de (re)contextualizar la profesi&#243;n. ]]></p></abstract>
