Na primeira parte, &#233; apontado o debate sobre o multiculturalismo, suas vertentes e seus desdobramentos na educa&#231;&#227;o; a segunda tra&#231;a articula&#231;&#245;es entre o multiculturalismo e a Teoria da Argumenta&#231;&#227;o desenvolvida por Perelman e Olbrechts-Tyteca (1999), que preconiza tomar os sujeitos do di&#225;logo como portadores do direito de se colocarem em posi&#231;&#245;es respeit&#225;veis. A perspectiva multicultural &#233; pensada, ent&#227;o, como argumenta&#231;&#227;o para o di&#225;logo das diferen&#231;as, o que pode resultar em impactos positivos na did&#225;tica e nas pr&#225;ticas formativas docentes. O texto apresenta metodologia h&#237;brida, constitu&#237;da de ensaio te&#243;rico, intercalado com ilustra&#231;&#245;es de estudos pr&#225;ticos que apoiam o argumento central defendido. Desse modo, pari passu &#224; discuss&#227;o, analisamos pesquisas desenvolvidas em metodologias qualitativas, participantes, que mostram como o enfoque multicultural e argumentativo poderia ser traduzido em experi&#234;ncias did&#225;ticas e em pr&#225;ticas formativas docentes, discutindo suas possibilidades e desafios.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: This article argues that teacher training can benefit from a multicultural and argumentative view, from which teaching strategies and teaching training practices are valued as means of promoting critical dialogues. The first part points out the debate about the concept of multiculturalism, its different aspects and its development in education. The second one suggests some linkages between multiculturalism and the theory of argumentation developed by Perelman and Olbrechts-Tyteca (1999), which recommends that subjects of the dialogue are seen as bearers of the right of putting themselves in reputable positions. The multicultural perspective is perceived as a process of argumentation so as to promote the dialogue of differences, which can result in positive impacts on didactics and teaching training practices. Methodology is hybrid, being theoretical and practical, by linking the argument with illustrations of qualitative and participatory research that translate the multicultural and argumentative approach n teaching experiences and in teaching training practices, discussing their possibilities and challenges.]]></p></abstract>
