A metodologia utilizada foi a qualitativa, de cunho descritivo e analítico, inspirada na netnografia, com base na exportação e análises de registros de narrativas produzidas pelo grupo de professores. Com o estudo pudemos concluir que existe um crescente engajamento dos professores com o compartilhamento de conteúdos e que eles utilizam as informações contidas nesse grupo para sua formação profissional e, consequentemente, para mudanças nas suas práticas pedagógicas.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[Abstract: In the context of digital technologies and the popularization of applications, the objective of the paper is to investigate whether a group on WhatsApp®, composed of English teachers, from the elementary school (last degrees), from municipal public schools, in Feira de Santana, is configured as a space for the extension of continuing education that took place in 2018. The methodology used was qualitative, descriptive and analytical, inspired by netnography, based on the export and analysis of narrative records produced by the group of teachers. With this study we could conclude that there is a growing engagement of teachers with the sharing of content and that they use the information contained in this online group for their professional development and, consequently, for changes in their pedagogical practices.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="es"><p><![CDATA[Resumen: En el contexto de las tecnologías digitales y de la popularización de los aplicativos, el objetivo de este artículo es investigar si un grupo en WhatsApp®, compuesto por profesores de Lengua Inglesa de los últimos años de escuelas primarias municipales de Feira de Santana, se configura como espacio de extensión de la formación continuada llevada a cabo en 2018. La metodología utilizada fue cualitativa, de tipo descriptiva y analítica, inspirada en la netnografía, basada en la exportación y análisis de registros de narrativas producidas en el grupo de profesores. En base al estudio fue posible concluir que existe un creciente involucramiento de los professores en compartir contenidos y en utilizar las informaciones del grupo para su formación profesional, consecuentemente, para mudanzas en sus prácticas pedagógicas.]]></p></abstract>
